Bellefontaine did it against a sorry jeanerette team at home for home coming. Still real good numbers, but consider the competition. Labbe did well also. But. In my opinion DeClouet gets the award. The reasons are as follows. He's quartbacking a 1-5 team. He put those numbers up against a very strong 5-1 Sam Houston team on the road on their home coming night. He led NISH back from a 31-17 defecit with 6 minutes to go in the game to tie it at 31 and send the game to overtime. He showed leadership and poise beyond his years. Its a simple choice when looking at all the factors in play
