How do you plan to vote on Florida Amendment 2, which would allow medical use of marijuana for patients with certain debilitating conditions?

My live in girlfriend is dying from lung cancer. She has never smoked in her life. She undergoes chemotherapy every 21 days. She suffers every hour of every day trying to survive the treatments. How detrimental can marijuana be to a terminally ill patient? My 29 year old son has Multiple Sclerosis and also undergoes chemo like treatments every 28 days and will do this for the rest of his life. Unless you have been a caregiver of someone who could benefit from the relief that medical marijuana could provide, if you haven't witnessed the debilitating suffering of a loved one, you should recuse yourself from this vote. If law enforcement is suspect of the distribution methods, they should lobby to have that better regulated. To simple deny relief to someone who desperately needs it is akin to imposing a cruelty that you would not subject your dog to.
