Maaaaaan look. Adventure Time has the funny and silly appeal for kids (and those who never let go of their kid at heart), while containing deep character development and adult themes that would go over most kids heads. That makes it a winner in my book. The Ice King's growth alone is evidence of the shows greatness. He started off as another silly villain and now with his backstory flushed out he's almost sympathetic. Also It's the biggest kids show I know of that even hints towards a portrayal of a same sex relationship (Marceline is crushin on Princess Bubblegum HARD and I just know she's carrying a flame for her, too). Being able to effortlessly juggles humor and depth shows just how much energy is being put into this show, and makes it stand out from the rest. Team Adventure Time all day!
