Are you concerned about genetically modified wheat?

Contrary to industry hype, GMO corn and soybeans have cost agriculture hundreds of millions of dollars in lost export sales, dramatically increased the cost of seed to farmers, increased pesticide use, is leading to the use of even more toxic herbicides, and ( according to independent scientific evidence) have deleterious health effects on both humans and livestock. GMO wheat will further benefit only the international chemical companies which now dominate the seed industry.

Genetically Modified Wheat is just that, developed in a lab by splicing genes together. Why would anyone want to eat something that cause bugs to die from eating it or can live after being sprayed with herbicides?
Now our government has approved Enlist Duo, an herbicide made of both 2,4-D and Roundup. Which tells me that their "Roundup Ready” crops (GMO) are failing because the weeds are getting used to massive doses of herbicides. The FDA admits the annual use of 2,4-D would jump from 26 million pounds to 176 million pounds. (from Organic Consumers Association)
In the world we all live in, 26 of the countries have banned GMO food crops -- the United States needs to join them and put an end to our agriculture being managed by Dow and Monsanto!
