Mike Smith is only a part of the problem, Thomas Dimitroff plays role in the Falcon's woes also. Mr. Blank's is a business man and believe it or not the Atlanta Falcons are a business. As I look at the entire Falcons team I honestly cannot name one relevant player on defense. Failed executive decisions and poor coaching are the issues that plague this organization. Three years ago John Elway became the lead man of the Denver Broncos and has since made all the right decisions to make the Denver Broncos an NFL power house. I am a die hard Falcon's fan and I have one question for Mr. Blank; would you let Home Depot fail???

You people obviously haven't been falcon fans since 1969, I have lived the falcons as a child and now as an adult. This is the best we have had since Bennett was head coach. There hasn't been alot to cheer about period! Stay the course, we need an offensive line, linebackers, and defensive linemen. we are not that far away. We had it a couple years ago and couldn't get it done. You really think Mr. Smith doesn't know what it takes to be successful? Stay with what you have, things will turn around. In my mind , what is worst then not making changes is when you make knee jerk changes. Think about this, who you gonna hire that will do better ? Who will take the job? The Falcons have made the superbowl once and the nfc championship 3 times, once under coach Smith.

The problems on this team are more than just Mike Smith, but it's time to start making the changes necessary to get this organization back on the right track. This season is lost, let's move on.

The Falcons issues are much deeper than Mike Smith.The imbalance in the salary structure,poor use of monies to protect Matt Ryan,a front office that has grow or regressed and a new stadium .This team is 6 and 18 team in the past two years ,can't win on the road .We are club level investors and have had season tickets from the old stadium.This is not a good investment of our resources. We travel from the Savannah/Hilton head area and Asheville for this fiasco.Something other than Mike Smith needs to happen.Bet the plane ride home was fun ! Good job. Bob Bushong
