I recently did this with Pizza Hut. They gave me regular braedsticks instead of chessesticks, called them and let them know my displeasure, and went back and got my correct order. But I'm a grad student on a GA stipend, so every dollar counts.

I consider it part of the risk of eating at a place that focuses on the speed of your order and not really the quality. And I usually only order food that they can't really mess up like chicken nuggets. Or i order my sandwich plain and put the condiments on myself. Also, I never really brought into the idea that all returned items are going to get spit on. And I never understand why people get so damn mad when there order is wrong. I have never had a restaurant refuse to remake the item. People that get mad are really out to abuse someone to feel powerful.

I answered yes so I would sound cool, but honestly I don't go back because I feel like they would spit in my food.

I don't eat red meat or pork. I try not to order foods that would be cooked on the same grill if it can be helped. So if I get a beef patty or bacon or whatever in my bag, I return it. There's no way I ordered it, it's not what I want. I usually just ask for the money back though, because I'm not waiting again and if I waited I'm sure it would come back with semen or spit. I mean even more than it had in the first place.
