The Shiv Sena is such an immature party.. even after losing they are hungry for ministerial positions so they can loot Maharashtra. What respect are they talking about ? They gambled by nrgotiating too hard before the elections.. they lost .. so they must have the courage to accept defeat and the will of the people..Go back and improve so u can prove worthy of people's expectations. Thr days of targetting poor north indian labourers are over guys!!

In the larger interest of the State and the Country the SS should not `only attend the swearing in ceremony but also participate in the Government.

We might have listen, the godhra train incident in which the incident was turned unfortunate, & the aftermath incident was, the most unfortunate planned crime, by not attending the ceremony may be termed as later incident. & it can not be tranquilized easly in near future, the relationship b/w the party will be more sore. In my opinion they should have attended the ceremony & presented their humbleness whether they are in or out the government.

This is how God will destroy infidels by pitting amongst themselves. And make them extinct.

The so-called leaders of Shiv Sena (including Uddhav Thackeray) need to grow up and learn to behave like adults. Their "boycott" is purely childish and ego-driven. Such power hungry, egoistical moves are not going to win them any public support. Give it up Uddhav ... !!

If someone feels SS is humiliated now, then it is worth showing pity for BJP as well, they faced disproportionate criticism from SS during election campaign.. SS should now respect democracy and attend swearing in.

Whether you want to be part of government or not, it's your call! But the swearing in ceremony is not BJP's private function. It is Government function - the very government which you wanted to run while contesting elections. Not attending the function reflects of "sour grapes" attitude and speaks volumes of the loser mentality of the party. Not to speak of the disrespect to the popular mandate of people of Maharashtra. Oh, I forgot!! If you cared for people of Maharashtra, you would not have been so rigid in your pre-poll alliance talks, in first place!

151 rigidness and thirst for retaining pride killing alliance. Although BJP wants to be together, it seems it is taking this opportunity to get the kid learn basic lessons of working together.

No doubt BJP taking Harsh steps and will hurt Sena, but they aren't less too. The way Amit Shah is treating Sena is applauded primarily because we don't want sena like parties to act like extortionist or opportunistics. They will kill Maharashtra and make the Govt unstable.

Just a thought, no offence. If you still take offense, I can't help as I can have an opinion aur aap aadat se majboor

Shiv Sena should realize its limitations and stop making demands for posts of Deputy CM or Speaker or high profile ministries. Same way BJP has to be flexible. There has to be an understanding and good will between both parties. Sena has to admit that it is a junior partner and has a poor record in Mumbai Municipal Corporation

Though Iam a BJP supporter I d'nt like the manner BJP is treating Shivsena forgetting that people still want both to govern MAH.BJP leaders must not behave like dictators& respect people's mandate which is for both. They must respect Sena, dependance on NCP will be dangerous.Together BJP & Shivsena can give stable & strong govt.

  • Sudhir Kale, Jakarta - 10 years ago

By sparring like this, both BJP & SS are losers & opportunist NCP gains, but SS is the biggest loser. But 'blow-hot-blow-cold' Uddhav refuses to understand that!

Good to see Indian politics going federal...people should say enough to regional parties. They did nothing other than creating concussions and wasting time and money of a tax payer. Has it be congress or BJP. There should remain only these two parties in entire country
