Sorry Tim but I have been around awhile and have heard the 'dead pitch' 'tired player' 'too hot' excuses for Australia's poor performances too many times - would u say the same thing if Australia won the toss and was 2-300?

Clarke should be commended for trying to be innovative with his field settings on such a pathetically dead wicket.
Why bother playing 5 days of test cricket if the result is dependent upon the toss of a coin.
