Absolutely not. Many people choose not to have pets because they are afraid of animals or don't like them. Why would anyone think they have the right to force these people to have to be around animals?

I lived in Toronto for 10 years and brought my dog on the street car all the time. Never had a problem and people loved it. She's a lab. Of course not during rush hour.

Yes! There could be regulations put in place as there is for bicycles. Obviously well trained, leashed dogs, no peak hours, perhaps a limit on number of dogs allowed to ride at the same time. A trial period perhaps. This could be a good thing for the city of Vancouver to at least try.

Most certainly no!! dealing with crowded, loud, smelly skytrains is bad enough without having dogs added into the mix. worse yet if someone brings an improperly trained dog that decides to relieve itself on said train . I love meeting peoples dogs on the street but i do NOT want to be forced to be around them on my commute.

No. Many people are highly allergic to animals. Also some people have fears due to previous bad experiences. How do you regulate this? How long can the leash be? Are all breeds allowed? Can an unmuzzled dog that's known to be aggressive be allowed on? Your dog might be cute to you - it's not cute to everyone.
