Ah jeeze, I used weird twice in there. Let's say Stretch is a bizarre movie to dump onto VOD instead.

So I did my homework this weekend and watched all three before voting.
On it's face, Stretch is a weird movie to just dump onto VOD and Netflix. But it's also not very good. It could have been released in January and see what comes of it, but apparently the studio had little faith in that route. The movie has some enjoyable parts, but there is not much to discuss.
The Rocketeer is just a good, consistent, old-fashioned movie. Joe Johnston made Captain America also to be a good, consistent, old-fashioned movie. There is an angle where consistency is boring and Cliff can be that. The gender roles have something worth discussing. But enough for a good podcast?
Batman Returns, though, is a weird movie. The costumes are hideous, penguin is constant eating raw fish, lines are comedic, and the plot meanders in a loose way. With the conclusion of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, a retrospective back 23 years can lead to a great discussion. Hence, my vote.
