I believe that ANYONE accused of rape should be questioned and if there is enough evidence of the act should be tried. HOWEVER, this story of something that allegedly happened approximately 25 years ago seems suspicious to me. The accuser claims she was drugged and raped...yet traveled with the accused and ended up in his hotel room....even though she supposedly had a hotel room of her own? Bill Cosby and Sidney Portier were both blacklisted back in the 1960's because of their civil rights involvement . It's the reason they collaborated and started making movies of their own. The same forces that sought to malign the reputation of Dr. Martin Luther King and Malcolm X could be a factor here. A few years ago, Mr. Cosby spoke out regarding the plight of African Americans in this country and his comments were considered harsh by some. It seems to me that these accusations surfaced at that time. Coincidence??? I don't think so.
