If Lifetime didn't have the proper support and resources to create a credible biopic of Aaliyah's life, they could've done the story more justice by leaving it to be told by a network who could. It's tasteless to throw together a collage of meaningless depictions to mirror someone's image and life in a way that impacts viewers as this film has impacted Aaliyah's family and fans.
Life time did the best they could, with what they had to work with, the casting was not so bad, the disconnect was their was no A aliyah music, that was the families fault, if they had the music, it would have been a better movie, let's face, I'm a fan, but she was just beginning her career, her story could have been a very good movie on lifetime, had it had the support of her family, there is not enough material for a screen movie, If it was a weak movie, it's not lifetime or Wendy Williams, it's the family decision, not help make it better...
