I feel like Kandi needs to establish titles and goals for her staff. It's great to have ideas and business sense but that collapses when the team is not there to execute! Kandi needs to get rid of them if they don't get with it! Todd is very business savvy. Kandi just wants to be "nice" to everyone and that doesn't work in business. She uses Todd to speak her mind and that's ok as long as that's conveyed to the team. They all need to shape up or ship out because clearly Kandi is paying them and nothing is getting done. She has a great track record but she should be doing waaaaaay better as talented as she is. Don Juan needs to get on the ball! He needs to take pointers from NeNe's manager. If Her Manager can take her from a bama to Mrs Glamorous on Broadway then Kandi should be doing so much better than she is! She just needs to get people working for her that she doesn't mind directing instead working with friends.

Team Todd all the way. Most of these viewers that makes negatives comments toward Todd is truly misinformed or don't understand the bond of married lives. It is clear and understood that some people do not invite their spouse into their business but their is others that do. I for one do not see the problem for Kandi to do just that. When you want to call Todd an opportunist, you may want to look at Kandi mother. One, Kandi had given her a house which she refused to move into, which was to be renovated by her boyfriend and was destroyed, on top of that she then bought her mom a new car and now a new house....... who is the true opportunist here!!!!! Then again what is an opportunist, one who wants to get a head in life, well I be damn then that means, most of us, for sure, I am. I think the word itself is not quite understood for most people and is used very loosely as only MJ knows how to use it. Come on people look up the word and know the true meaning. Don Juan, when speaking on resume between Todd and Kandi, I think he should put his resume up with Todd, if he has one, since he has being with Kandi for many years. Kandi should reprimand him for speaking to her husband in that manor, regardless of how long he had being with her. Respect the Marriage and stay in the lane you are given. I think he is feeling some kind of way..... maybe threaten by Todd!!!!! Don Juan needs to relax and continue the ride.

Part of being in a relationship is wanting more for your other half. Kandi is a little passive around her people which sometimes happens when you have strong willed parents. She is mire than likely voicing her concerns to her husband and he is sticking up for his wife. My boyfriend pushes me and tells me when things don't smell right, as he should. I had friend similar to Kandi on her business but wouldn't speak up to people in fear of losing a close friend or relative. She would have her guy say something and I'm not saying it's right but it worked for her. If Kandi isn't complaining who are we to judge?

It may be difficult for Kandi to change how she supervises her staff. It might work if she has meeting where Todd is given a specific role/title. We (viewers) don't know if every time Kandi got a new man, he tried to put his two cents in her business. The staff could be leery of that.

I was BLOWN away how Don Juan totally "Queened" out!! He is very confused about his place. I will admit that the approach and how the meeting began was unprofessional and could have used more thought and care. However as an employee don't ever get it confused with your boss when it comes to wifey or hubby...and your name is NO where on the door.
If Kandi cannot draw a distinctive line of business and friendship-well clean house and get you some hungry people that want to elevate her brand.
If I was Todd I would have gave him his walking papers just of the muscle that he came off real funky!

Don Juan acted jealous. I think the friends and family have gotten accustomed to Kandi being single and when she brought her HUSBAND into the business picture, Don Juan could not handle it. True you all are friends but on the same note she is your employer.

Well Funky i think you are right too. I think Kandi and the relationship with her team is of a friendship one.
She should separate thetwo to a degree, everybody need to be on their job. Todd right but thats Kandi fault as well bring him as your partner , or maybe consultant. Don Juan heard what Todd said and I heard Don say he miss his mothers party , that should not have happen , if you dont have people there who can carry the load in your absence well we know what that means. he shouldnt have had to feel like he has to handle everything,
just get it together cause when Kandi WIN they all WIN!

Todd did not deny that Don Juan was a good worker he just pointed out that things were not being done. Also Kandi wanted Todd to come to the meeting he already didn't want to be the bad guy. And after Don Juan heard Toddgive him Kudos he was good and they ended on good terms. Don Juan was just in his feelings
