There are several options that need to be set in motion.
1. Reduce the speed limit to 25MPH in the area and install speed bumps as needed by the cross walks.
2. Ticket speeders and J-walkers. (install warning signs that state J-walkers and speeders will be ticketed)
3. Install something (flower beds, bushes, etc) that will channel people to the marked cross walks.
4. Durning special events provide traffic control persons (just like school zones)
