EDUCATORS: How many absences are reasonable for the semester, presuming a 3 days/week class? (Pick top 3, please!)

Only emergencies, and even then, they should be in contact ASAP.

Attendance is tied to points in my course.

No more than 6--that's 2 weeks of class!

As long as they're passing, it's their degree.

Absenteeism is an employability issue: if you're not at work, you could get fired; therefore, be in class.

What do I care? They're paying. Their grade.
