A CWP is an important privilege of law abiding citizens and one of the reasons japan did not attack the mainland in WWII. They knew there would be a gun aimed at them from behind every blade of grass (as one of their leaders put it). It would have been a battle they could not win.
Remember this well: those (like me) who qualify for a CWP are the "Good Guys" not vigilantes and not criminals. Let the sheriff continue to do the good job he is doing to review our privilege periodically to insure we are in compliance with the law.
What is "stupid" is to change the law because of an error made by one person and thereby punish thousands of "Good Guys" who have set a high standard.
Count it as one of your blessings that we have qualified for a CWP.
BTW: the next time you see a police officer or a sheriff, give them a thumbs-up to show them that they are appreciated.

If you think Obama is going to take away your gun, then you are to stupid to own a gun.
If we banned items that were involved in accidental deaths and injuries, we would not have picket fences, cars, football, etc.
