Should the new towers around Waterfront Station be taller than currently permitted?

The view corridors need to be protected. We have already seen their loss around the Burrard corridor. Preserve some of the little heritage there is and the views to the mountain. The landowners knew the restrictions and a new building shouldn't compromise two existing historical buildings on the waterfront.

It's ironic that this happens to the man who designed the tallest tower in the world - the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Goes to show how bureaucratic and anal Vancouver's city planners are.
