When in doubt ask the nurse with the needle to read you the INSERT that comes with the shots. Ask what the side effects are! What, may cause death??????

We all need to keep in mind the power of the press, we were "told" that this is what to do but who puts these messages out? Drug companies? The doctors funded by them? Yes many studies by accredited doctors say vaccinate but there are plenty of doctors with the same credentials that say different. So.... Who to believe?
Is it un-vaccinated people causing out breaks or is it "super bugs" due to over vaccination. We tend to believe what is highly publicized. We base our personal beliefs on the salesman who gave us the best sales pitch, right?

Unless you or your child has a serious/life threatening reaction to MMR serum, I would advise you to carefully consider your options to immunize or not to immunize. When I was a child age 7 years, the school public health nurse decided that I should not be immunized and made a notation my chart that I had a sensitivity to eggs. My reaction was a very mild case of eczema, which affected only the inside crease of my elbows & behind my knees. Years later, our Pediatrician in Winnipeg decided that our children did not need to be immunized for mumps, which had recently become available. (Immunization was not available in the school system in Man. at that time.) Our four sons all contracted mumps. AND my husband & I both contracted mumps, and we were extremely ill. I was admitted to hospital for 10 days with encephalitis and pancreatitis; both very serious conditions! My husband was bedridden & had to be cared for by friends until my parents, who were vacationing out of the country, came to the rescue.
Based on our experience, I would advise that you PLEASE DO NOT MAKE A HASTY DECISION REGARDING IMMUNIZATION.
