I think that all around Trey Bryant was one of the top performers along with Ben and Sara. But that's just me. I was actually there and listened to all of the performances.

There is so much talent in this years competition, that it's crazy. As Dr. Dickman said " Its stupidly deep." However, I would like to point out that for those who are listening online, the live performances are so much better and though online you can hear every missed note, it is not as evident live. So please take that in consideration when you only hear the online stream because it is night and day in comparison.

I listened to every performance again today after being in the audience last night. Thought maybe I had missed something. I heard the judges saying "great job" to singers who were singing flat, heard them say "great job" to performers who didn't sing at all and I heard them say "great job" to one singer who at one point was singing in a completely different key than the music, (are they kidding me?) Where is the constructive criticism? Wasn't one of the judges a music professor? The music professor should definitely have caught that and commented on it. I think he said there were "pitch problems". That isn't a pitch problem. Singing in an entirely different key than your music is a much bigger issue than simply a "pitch problem". Out of all the guys that performed there is one who stands out and that is Ben. Out of all the girls who performed there is only one who is a true singer with talent and that is Sara.

I was not able to attend the live performance last night but I did go online and watch each performance and I listened to the judge's comments. All I can say is, I hope the judges take the time to go back and listen again to each singer and rethink their comments. I heard one judge is a music teacher and he did not catch or acknowledge the fact some of the performers sung parts of their songs in a different key than what the musicians were playing. In my opinion, there are only 2 performers who deserve to stay in the competition and that is Ben and Sara!!!! Good Luck to you both.
