NYC is collecting tons of property taxes from home owners and it goes up every year religiously. On top of this is not a good idea to charge for garbage pick up fee. Our property taxes are paying for a lot of things and this is one of them. This is an insult to New Yorkers. Other states may charge for this type of services BUT people aren't charged so much taxes as New Yorkers !
