Absolutely they SHOULD hut I'm not sure that they will. Chip Kell has a habit of overestimating talent. Now there's rumors that Jake Locker is a target? No. Terrible idea. He's just as inaccurate as Sanchez and his confidence in himself is twice as low.
It would be a great idea for them to make a play at RG3 and restructure his contract if they need to. Wasn't this past season the last on his rookie contract though? He did good his rookie year which means that he could do at least decent again. He's an absolute perfect QB for Chip Kelly's system and I think he could thrive in it and possibly renew the great career he was supposed to have. The Redskins have make it pretty clear that he has been more trouble than he's been worth for them, and after their comment to season ticket holders I think anything is possible. Especially with Nick Cousins and Colt McCoy both making a play for the top spot. I smell a 1st string competition without RG3 this off-season, whether it's the Eagles who get him or not.
