Madonna was by far the most entertaining. I could have slept thru most of the rest. Lady Gaga has a great voice there is no doubt. But something about the chemistry between her and some old man just seemed icky. Oh, and she looked like Ursula the Seawitch with a bad spray tan.

The grammys has become more about politics than a platform for music or creative expression. It was an award show for the overplayed songs of 2014 and didn't exhibit enough talent. It was ironic thematically trying to convey positive messages of love and strength but had too much devilish imagery to be proactive...from Katy Perry wearing devil ears during AC/DC to Madonna basically making love to satan (supposedly bull fighting into the hearts of many) and then Annie Lennox singing a spell on you. What sort of message is the Academy trying to convey to influential youth? Not only are they not diversified in their recognition but they are apparently Satan worshipers. I am apalled. They should open voting categories to the public to be more democratic at least. The performances overall were interesting but i think they should quickly announce the winners at the end and otherwise make it more like a concert festival. Less talking. More music.

Gaga and Tony, also ANNIE LENNOX IS A GODDESS. Tony had more energy than Madonna (she literally had everyone carry her around and dance around her and her voice was sooo weak it was drowned out by the back track). Sia is always great ! Rihanna sounded good but that performance was soooo low energy it looked like a rehearsal.

madonna was the only performance with actual theatre and beauty into it. the choreography was incredible. she was just all around innovative. everyone else just did either a generic ballad (beyonce, katy perry) or sang a song with 10 lyrics in it with a retired jazz/ soul singer (jessie j, lady gaga). madonna was obviously the winner of this poll, no doubt.

Every performance was outstanding. The Gospel song that Beyonce sang from her soul explain the good and the hard times she experienced in the year of 2014 until the present time. A song like that is a cry out to God saying Thank You and I am so greatful for all you have done. She is one artist who truly appreciate her fans.
