I have an opportunity to explore a community arts project with my Monday evening class. Although I have experience on Community Arts projects it would mean using more of my time to organise and prepare. The students may be able to and wish to contribute artwork during lessons, but will I receive financial support from the university? I explained I would like press involvement to support and promote the College which will benefit students , marketing for the college and the wider community etc. I am also trying to secure some funding for art equipment for the project. There may be university policies concerning this type of event
I appreciate this is not about lesson observations, but it does affect progress of adult learning development relevant to my lessons.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
