I agree with you that Slavic people in that area have nothing to do with Ancient History, and that land was populated long before the Slav's came, but what bothers me is that you don't say that Pellasgians are todays Albanians, and it also bothers me that you don't say that Alexander DID NOT speak GREEK at all, he's father is Greek and his Mother is Albanian. If you claim that you are Macedonian & hail from the greats of ancient Macedonia, then the onus of proof is on u. So if sum one, anyone from ex-Yugoslavia can show me proof by way of an academic agreeing that they are Macedonian & they are descendants of the ancient Macedonian's then I'd like to see it.

Macedonia is Macedonia, Greece is Greece. That's two different contries. Ethnic Macedonians are independant, ethnic Greeks are independant. The difference between the two states, Greece and Macedonia, are that greeks got their indepency 200 years before the macedonians, expanded on macedonian territory and wrote its own history books long before macedonians could. Greece is a fabricator of history. To all the Greeks above, explain to me a few things:
1. Why did Greece start naming the northern province Macedonia in 1988 after it became evident Yugoslavia would break apart and there would be a separate Macedonian state, just as it was inside Yugoslavia?
2. Why was the Northern Province Macedonia along with the rest of Macedonia liberated from the Ottomans in 1912? Why wasn't it with the rest of Greece in 1830-something I believe it was?
3. Why are there so many Macedonians living in the province Macedonia and no Greeks in the country Macedonia? Because Macedonians have always lived in that territory, now it's a little number because they were killed and expelled in 1922 and 1948!
Greeks and Greece is even more fascist than Hitler, I do not understand how a democratic Europe that supports human rights even tolerates such a country!
You can dream about being Macedonians but you never will be. We are the Macedonians, Slavs came later on and mixed with us. Alexander was blond, Greeks are all dark skinned like Arabs. Even our prime minister Gruevski's family is from Aegean Macedonia.

1. This is not the Greek flag.
- The first "Macedonian flag" had 16 rays of the sun. "That is the Greek flag". You asked us to change the flag, they did change it. Now the new flag with 8 rays, unfortunately has nothing to do with Greek nor Macedonian history, however that doesn't stop them from beating the crap out of you in design and elegance.
