Wish I could get lucid dreaming down... THEN maybe I could have some pony dreams. As of now though, there's none that I can recall.

I actually just had a sort of pony dream last night. I was playing a top-down game in which you were Scootaloo running around collecting things. I don't know what the goal of the game was but I do know there were random chickens about and if you collected/ate one, your boost bar would go up a notch. When the boost bar was full it allowed you to fly a short distance and reach bonus areas.

My subconscious can be so cruel.

I've had some pony dreams mostly me being a pegasus which was fun. I always wish My Little pony was real so i could meet Rainbow Dash but i guess my dream will have to do xD

I would love to dream about ponies, but I hardly ever remember my dreams. I feel like if I did have a pony dream I would remember it though. For some reason though I have this nagging thought that ponies have been in my dreams in some sense before. Maybe I'll have a big pony dream tonight...here's hoping!

    Where's the "I don't have dreams" option...

I can count on one hand the pony dreams I've had. It's tragic.

  • DJ Bronamite - 9 years ago

I wish I could have a pony-related dream. They never happen, though.

I am somewhat a weird case in that I CAN dream lucid, but that usually ends with all the tension gone. Once I asked a character what their function was in the dream, and upon not liking the function, erased the person. I kept erasing things, and then the dream collapsed.
Instead of god-mode killing tension, I generally keep minimal awareness, thus negating the concept of nightmares, them becoming thrillers (like getting chased by zombie t-rex, thanks Dresden!). I have had less nightmares in last 15 years than I have fingers on one hand.
I technically lied in the poll, answered never, had one. Dream was, in essence, that I tried to choke Chrysalis, but couldn't, because hooves. The absurdity of the situation made me laugh and woke me up.

  • HalflingPony - 9 years ago

I have never once dreamt about anything pony related. Considering how bizarre my dreams usually are, that's actually rather surprising.

  • Andrewski The Booski - 9 years ago

I have had pony dreams but rarely, i feel as if i probably dream about ponies more but i just have no recollection of my dream, as is the norm.

  • funbrand - 9 years ago

I wish I had pony dreams more often. Sadly, the only pony dream I've ever had was about Molestia... *shudder*

    Continued from previous comment...
Also, cause I'm tired, copypasta from a chat log. Don't wanna type it again.

I was creating artwork of the castle of the two sisters
The battle between Celestia and Luna
inside of a "cathedral" like building. Focusing on art on the ground level...
cause the touchups on the building wall are VERY high.
There is some sort of undefined "contest" for the art.
I place a VERY tall ladder to reach an area that needs completion up top.
I finish work on the floor and I step back and off to the side to view what's left.
My sister points out the ladder is crooked,
Whoever is going up there really should straighten it up. It looks very unsafe.
It's at this point ponies actually show up.
Rainbow and Fluttershy offer to help.
They string up a 4 point cross of rope rigging, and suspend multiple bungee like lines from the ceiling attached between these lines.
Meant as a safety net of sorts...
I move around and add additional hold lines around the perimeter, on a ridge.
I go up, tie myself into the safety rigging, and complete the touchups on the art.
The work is completed, so I decide to come down,
but the last little bit, I jump to a cross line and grab hold, and bounce to another.
Then another... And another. I add force on my launches.
At this point I am speeding around the room, chasing and playing with the ponies!
I add height, easily exceeding the height of my work.
I finally let myself come to a landing, out of breath. lay on back.
Fluttershy steps over me, straddling my body.
She nuzzle/kisses me and says in the happiest, most excited "loud-quiet" voice "You flew!"
The other ponies present all approach, all smiling, apparently happy that their dear Fluttershy has overcome her shyness to me!
I wake up from the AWESOME dream... to the sound of a Klingon havin' a freakin' baby! Cuz I fell asleep after the Bronystate movie night, and Star Trek was playing on the livestream's post show, and that was LOUD! :D

I VERY RARELY remember any dreams, but of the few dreams I remember, most have been pony dreams! That's not exactly saying much, cause I remember maybe only 5 or 6 in the past 2 years... Still, ponies!

The first dream was set in my old high school, except that the hallway that led out of the cafeteria and passed the bathrooms instead led to a mall. It was full of vampires. Princess Luna walks out of the little fillies room wearing Fallout style leather armor, passes me a shotgun, while she takes her rifle, and we start mowing down vampires. After a short time, we realize the vampires are sorta waving at us to stop, we cautiously stop, and one approaches. Explains that they are really not actually interested in hurting anyone, what with blood banks and all, and honestly, they are the sparkly kind, and they just wanna get out cause people won't leave them alone. We're all like, well, we really aren't into killing, so sure, if you guys wanna just head out, that's all cool, sorry for shooting you guys. The vampires left, and it was just me and Luna... Then I woke up, dang it!

Second dream I recalled was set in my hometown. I had been commissioned to construct a bridge traversing the back portion of the lake that is bisected by the highway into town (the main north-south highway actually is built on a rock and gravel divider that was actually built right through the middle of a lake, with a culvert connecting the two sides to maintain the same water level across the two sides). The bridge I (apparently prior to the start of the dream) constructed was a steel archway type bridge, with some rather strange designs in the arch, but it's covered by a large tarp, for the big opening reveal. The arch was also MASSIVE, visible for miles in every direction, rising many times higher than the tree line. Twilight meets me on the road that leads out of town to my father's farm, right at the edge of town, and tells me I have to hide from Trixie, who has hired two human men to stop me, for some reason. As Twilight and I flee through town, we learn that Trixie was hired by an association of cellular and internet service providers to suppress my invention. Apparently, I had designed a P2P based adhoc cellular network that makes a world wide internet/telecommunications system that is completely independent of central server/service providers, or prewired networks. Twilight says if she can get to Celestia, she has a legion of royal guards stationed at my dad's farm (huh!?!). It's dangerous for me to go alone, but If I distract Trixie, Twilight can slip out of town and reach the farm. Trixie tries to capture me, but the thugs proceed to try to kill me. Trixie wants nothing to do with murdering anyone, and threatens the thugs with non payment if they actually harm me. The thugs are actually only using Trixie to track me, and tell her they were getting paid directly to kill me, and that she was no longer needed to track me. Trixie flees with me to the bridge and I have her release the tarp. The strange designs in the bridge, as it turns out (somehow) encode the entirety of the design for the P2P communications system, now visible to the public, for miles and miles. Photos spread over the net, and on hearing all ISPs and Cellular providers have been effectively rendered obsolete, and all internet and communications will soon be free and uncontrolled... the companies stocks collapsed, and the thugs realized they wouldn't be paid. They abandoned Trixie and me, as Celestia and her royal guard showed up. Trixie plays the apologetic mare, and Celestia honors me by naming me a prince of telecommunications... She leads me to a throne... which happens to be the Game of Thrones throne. I whisper to excited Lyra "Wait... don't most people who end up in this trine die?"* And then I woke up.

    * I have never watched Game of Thrones, only seen a few bits and pieces at a friend's place... I don't care for it.

My final pony dream... And I'm out of characters.

Don't dream of pony. Sad about that...

  • FiMStargazer - 9 years ago

I can't remember the last time I remember ever dreaming. It just feels like I close my eyes and then it's dawn and I wake up now a days. =/

    @triq267
Never feel guilty about what you do in your dreams. (Unless you kill people and enjoy it. Then you might have a problem. I remember trying to kill someone in a dream once; it was one of the worst nightmares I ever had; I felt horrible when I woke up. Wow, off-topic.) Seriously, if your dream wants to explore, don't be afraid. Nobody is spying on you in there. What I wouldn't give for a dream that didn't turn on me.

    @Thunder blitz
Ah, flying dreams. If I'm flying, that usually means I'm being chased by an unseen horror. And then video-game physics kicks in, and I get hemmed in by the invisible ceiling of the level.

I'm curious as to the level of depth in people's dreams. Everyone seems to experience different things. Does your dream feel real? Is it “blurred” at the edges, like if you push too hard you'll wake up? Do you see in color? Do you hear sounds? Do you smell things? Do you feel sensations, hot or cold, pleasure or pain? Do you have a feeling of where your body is? Is your perspective first-person; does it switch to third-person; or perhaps some hybrid in between the two? Do you have “dream memories” that establish what is happening in the dream, even though you never dreamed those events that they are memories of? Do you have “dream places” that appear in multiple dreams, even though they aren't real places? Are there dream representations of real places, objects, or people, which don't resemble those places, objects, or people at all but nevertheless feel like that's what they are while in the dream? Is there continuity in your dreams from night to night, or even over months or years? Can you read in the dream? Control what happens? Force yourself to wake up?
Most of us share the ability to dream, yet they are the most private, lonely experiences we have. Dreaming is one of the most frequent things we do, yet we know next to nothing about how they work, why they happen, or just what the experience is like for different people.

Sadly, I very rarely remember my dreams, so even if I did, I wouldn't know.

  • Tator tot - 9 years ago

Sadly, I don't even have dreams that I remember often to begin with...

One of my absolute strangest pony dreams was where this pony decided to become his true self and somehow transformed himself into the "very first minion" from Despicable Me. ...There was also another one where all the princesses got animated swirling gear tattoos around their right flank cutie marks in the season 5 finale. I cried over that in the dream because that was apparently very emotional.

  • Shadow Pony - 9 years ago

A more than one occasion of woken up shouting save me princess Luna.

  • triq267 - 9 years ago

I've had two or three dreams about the ponies. Not the kinds I'd like though. Instead of the fun adventure-style dreams I'd like to have, they typically end up going rather... cloppily. And then I wake up and scold my brain for thinking those things.

  • Loony Poony - 9 years ago

Haha yes, sometimes I actually do. I actually remember my dreams almost all of the time.
Once I dreamt the world was being invaded by evil minded aliens who spread a disease, making people attack and trying to kill each other. Like a biological warfare without the aliens really takin part.
However, in this dream Rainbow Dash was kind of my spy, who I sent out on flying missions to get information.
    Just a bit fun :3

Shortly after Magical Mystery Cure aired, I had a vivid dream that I was Princess Twilight. And I'm a guy!

Do robot bronies dream of electric ponies?

Dreams are windows to the soul, sometimes open sometimes not. . .If they are remembered. . .

  • weweweeee - 9 years ago

I don't even dream, unless it is a weird cryptic message from my brain or an unsettling and totally impossible nightmare

  • Groudon199 - 9 years ago

Unfortunately, not in the way I want to.

I've had dreams where I'm watching MLP or someone I know has MLP toys, but none where I actually interact with the characters. The closest I've gotten is one where someone sitting next to me in my old high school was dressed and sounded exactly like the character at the end of Rainbow Rocks.

  • Bubbobings - 9 years ago

Another option would be nice, for people like me who just don't get dreams :/

  • HaloEssence111 - 9 years ago

I once dreamed about Photo Finish after watching the 'Picture Perfect Pony' music video at three in the morning.

  • Badly Drawn Turtle - 9 years ago

My dreams actively oppose doing anything I might enjoy, so… Yeah. Not many ponies.
(Seriously, my dreams will go out of their way to do the opposite of what I want. There's probably some deep psychological stuff going on there.)

  • Joshua - 9 years ago

Man, do I ever wish it was more often.
