You are offered a chance to be teleported to Equestria forever, but have to do it immediatly. You also get some options, would you do it?

why are there so many autist who want to turn into a pony ?
being human would much nicer cuz u have hands and can grab things.
and you would be something special in equestria

  • Rin_Kaenbyou - 9 years ago

I would so go and become a female pony xD
Would love Every race, but might become a Unicorn though :P
The 50/50 Split between mares and stallions is good too imho xD

  • Mares Fillies - 9 years ago

I have no shame in saying this but if get teleported to equestria I'd be a female pony and I'm a college dude.

  • evey - 9 years ago

id go and be a female pony cuz equestria awesome and i want to make all my shippings real, I honestly think id be a unicorn cuz i suck at sport, im not active in the slitest and I find the idea of magic really interesting but id have to take this clever guy i know and my laptop cuz then he can create the internet that can tramit to the human world so i can skype my family

  • Yosef - 9 years ago

Celestia knows we've all fantasized about it at some point. Personally, I feel I'm too invested in this world to just leave and never come back. Equestria is wonderful, but we have a certain responsibility to bring that wonder to the world we know. To go there and return, that would be ideal.

  • Artex - 9 years ago

An interesting opportunity, but I'd have to stay here on Earth. It'd certainly be something to experience, but as a permanent situation I don't think I could say yes. Ponies lack hands which I value as instruments for drawing. Perhaps as a unicorn I could manage. I'd also have to leave behind my interests in computers and technology that Equestria lacks, I could live without them and just focus on art. With that aside just leaves friends and family. I'm not a very socially inclined person, I enjoy my time by myself, but I still would miss them. In the end it comes down to what I'm more comfortable with and am I happy. I know Earth, I'm not bored of Earth, there's a lot to do on Earth. I don't wish to not be on Earth, so I stay on Earth. c:

    @DarkPillWarrior
Well, Griffons are carnivores, at least in mythology, and something made from a bird of prey and a lion would probably eat meat. Plus they have dogs, cats, alligators and other carnivorous animals as pets, so you know...

  • Elegron - 9 years ago

It depends. are most of the mares lesbian or not xD
i know it sounds silly, but this is a legitimate concern.
Then theres the even more important question: do i get to take my girlfriend with me?

  • DarkPillWarrior - 9 years ago

One other thing I forgot to say. The reason I wouldn't want to be a human in Equestria is... well... Omnivore... The locals would definitely not be happy about that. So being turned into a Pony would be the optimal thing unless you really think you can actually convince a panicking town full of scared and angry villagers that you are not going to be eating their children... Yeah... Definitely going with becoming a pony. (I hate crowds >.

  • DarkPillWarrior - 9 years ago

Well this is a tough question but I would have to say I would go to equestrian and be turned into a male pony. I really don't care what race I am given because all are equal in their own ways. I would probably end up with pranking or something like that for my talent anyway...

  • Solwitar - 9 years ago

    Stay human guys, stay human!

  • Rockpath5 - 9 years ago

I want to go as a bunny, Angel's doppelganger in fact. Then after I take care of Angel, Fluttershy will be mine.

  • Pentium100 - 9 years ago

I do not make life changing decisions without first thinking it over and weighing my options, so, in this case I would refuse.

Actually, I am quite comfortable on Earth and being a human (I also love my family and like technology), so I would most likely refuse even if given time to think it over and prepare. While Twilight seems nice when watching the show, I can never know how she is when "the camera is off" and even if she was just like in the show, a princess would not be interested in me, irrespective of whether I become a pony or remain human (I do like my hands).

I would like a short visit though (maybe would even be able see Twiligh from relatively close or even meet her), but not stay there permanently.

I wonder how many of the people who would drop everything and move permanently to Equestria would move to a different house or a different country on Earth just as quickly...

  • Gokudomatic - 9 years ago

    @Lyra
What do you mean? Is the fact that so many people want to go through gender bending that disturbs you? Or the fact that so many people want to keep their gender even though the show is mostly composed of mares?
The only thing that disturbs me is the high number of people who want to keep their human shape and yet go in this world. For me it feels just completely wrong.

  • Flutter~ - 9 years ago

I would love to go to equestria, but would remain female. I'd also want to be able to say my goodbyes though...

  • Lance Omikron - 9 years ago

As much fun as it would be to become a pony, I would choose to remain human in Equestria. Reason is that my existing there as a real-world human would prove that there's a connection between the worlds. So long as that proof exists, Twilight might be able to create a link between Earth and Equestria.

  • Lyra - 9 years ago

It's mildly disturbing that Become a Mare in Equestria is near neck and neck with Become a Stallion in Equestria, considering the vast majority of people voting on this poll are males, unless I have been lied to for the past several years.

  • Amazing Pony - 9 years ago

I do want to be a mare and party in Equestria. But, unless my family and friends come with me, I'm staying here. Or, I could go for a visit and come back.

  • Brigid - 9 years ago

I don't know, it would depend. Would my family get to go with me? Or am I just dumped in an unknown place a complete stranger to customs and the ponies there? Because then it would be a no. The beginning would be too difficult to make up for it, and maybe I'll never adjust to life as a pony in Equestria! If it was just for a short period, whenever I wanted, then yes. But right now, forever? No! I have so much left to do here on Earth!!!

  • Elwarrr - 9 years ago

I'd have to give up an easy and boring life in a cruel world where most of people are jerks in exchange for a bit less easy but actually interesting life in a fun world where most of people are nice?
Sign me up and turn me into a pony so that the natives won't call me a monkey. I might miss the technology but I won't need it on the other side.

  • Donovan Carr - 9 years ago

I would go and stay human. And live in Ponyvile, of coarse.

  • DAPLR - 9 years ago

I would like to go, not because I have a particularly shit life here (it's actually amazing), but the experience would be incredible. I think Earth pony would be my preference, as physical labour is a ability I'm used too, and if I wante dto fly, there are a multitude of ways.
However, the 'immediate' thing is what kills it for me. I couldn't leave my family and friends without notice...I can only imagine how sad and confused they'd be If I could tell and explain, maybe, but as it stands, no.

  • Kara - 9 years ago

Is it weird that my first thought was that I could start a tech revolution and basically take over through the influence gained? The show appears to have a weird mix between 1860's and late 30s tech, and as an engineer it would be childs play to get them up to at least the 60s.

  • silvadel - 9 years ago

Well, as for "earth pony discrimination," I think it falls into two camps. First, there are only so many people who have a proclivity for growing things. Plus earth pony falls into work ethic. If it were 100-300 years ago, a lot more people would identify strongly with the earth ponies than today. It wasn't that long ago when half of people were involved with farming in one way or another instead of the under 2% now in the USA. Hence there are far fewer people who identify with what earth ponies are. The second camp is the people who just want the wings, and/or the horn. Technically the most familiar ponyish form would be griffon because while you would get to fly, you would still retain something like fingers in the griffon's claws. Of course nobody has brought up the possibility of diamond dog, or minotaur.

  • Michael McKenna - 9 years ago

Honestly, I would not do it. I love my family and I love this planet. I would visit Equestria if I had the option, but I would not live there. I have to much to live for here.

  • EoK - 9 years ago

This poll seems very much like this: http://element0fkindness.deviantart.com/art/Gateway-to-Equestria-458625674

  • Zos - 9 years ago

dont get me wrong i'd love to but the only way i would go is if i could go and come back at my command

  • Tradley - 9 years ago

I'd stay. Leaving without notice would be cruel to my friends and family.
If I HAD to go, I'd go with male pony.

  • Metemponychosis - 9 years ago

    CONVERSION BUREAU!
    DO IT! LOL

  • fk off - 9 years ago

    This is so fucking pathetic

  • HalflingPony - 9 years ago

Heck no! My life on Earth isn't nearly so horrible that I'd want to abandon it. Not to mention that Equestria is like Antartica- beautiful, deadly, majestic and much more enjoyable from the *comfortable* side of a TV screen.

Besides, call me a disgusting predator if you want, but I could never give up hamburgers. :P

Though, just for the record, if I had no choice- earth pony all the way. I'd finally fulfil my lifelong dream of having a garden that *didn't* shrivel up and die halfway through harvest season!

  • PumpkinCheesecake - 9 years ago

As much as I love ponies... No chance I'm leaving my husband and family just for some colorful horses. It'd be wrong and far too cruel of me to abandon them after they've done so much for me.
I get the feeling these questions are intentionally vague... As much as I'm a stickler for specificity, the vagueness does make you think, and that's kinda nice.

  • Concept - 9 years ago

Why necessarily become a pony? What If I wanted the interaction with the ponies but also wanted to become a Gryphon instead?

  • Redd - 9 years ago

No goodbyes? No ability to come back to earth? I say no worries! There's nothing here for me on Earth anyways. I'd be a female pony, of course; I am a girl after all. (any other female bronies here? :D) But I'd like to be a unicorn because I can't draw well using my teeth xD Although Twilight seems to do just fine with drawing with her mouth in Rainbow Rocks. *cough*notreally*cough* xD

  • Kicks_McGee - 9 years ago

I'm not sure what's more disturbing: this poll, or the racism against earth ponies in the comments.

  • Paradoxical - 9 years ago

If I could bring a quorum of Jews for prayer and my family, then I'd take the male poly option.

  • Just an Annon - 9 years ago

No chance to say goodbyes + no ability to return = no deal for me. If I HAD to, then I'd stay human to screw with the rabid fans that are so against Equestria Girls.

  • Bolt the Super-Pony - 9 years ago

...Otherwise I would teleport but I'd stay human.

  • Bolt the Super-Pony - 9 years ago

I would become a male pony only if I got to be a Pegasus. The one thing I would not want to be is an earth pony. I think staying human would be a disadvantage in the long-term because you would have no source of readily-available protein, since the ponies are vegetarians (also, where would you use the bathroom?).

  • Hat - 9 years ago

    Earth loyalty!

  • Storm Holder - 9 years ago

"Teleport to Equestria as a Male Pony" is seriously my #1 on Genie Wishlist.

  • Lawrence - 9 years ago

If i was offered? yes, in a heartbeat. sure I'd miss my earth self but I'd love my new pony life :3

  • Cindy - 9 years ago

Hmm, I wonder if ponies watch My Little Human on television

  • silvadel - 9 years ago

Note: This means that if it were an utter tossup with races if I chose pony(alicorn not in that mix) BUT I had the opportunity to choose Griffon instead, I would take the safe bet and go Griffon over random pony.

  • lordelliott - 9 years ago

No, for the same reason as @HydrusBeta.

  • silvadel - 9 years ago

Well, I went with male pony. There is ONE caveat to that. I can't be made into an earth pony. I would take human form before earth pony. Alicorn > Top 1% Magic Unicorn > Pegasus = Griffon = Bat Pony> Unicorn >>> Earth Pony. This is as much because the earth pony way is far less in my nature than pegasus or unicorn as it is for not having wings or castable magic. Note most unicorns only have magic related to their talents for the most part and not enough talent to do the really neat stuff. Top 1% Unicorn is best because you would eventually be able to learn things like walking on clouds, teleportation, and with a lot of effort the wings spell.

I would give up my gender if that was the only way to be an alicorn and alicorn was a choice.

  • mouthofxenu - 9 years ago

While I would love little more than to be a female pegasus in Equestria, I must stay on Earth if offered this chance because I will not leave my love behind. Now, if she would come along, I'd take this up in a heartbeat.

  • Guest - 9 years ago

I wonder how different the stats would be if there was another gender option besides male and female.

  • Guest - 9 years ago

No, I would not leave Earth, and I feel sorry for anyone who said they world. They must have a rough life on Earth to be willing to abandon it all forever. That or they're not paying enough attention to the show to know what Equestria is really like.

  • Itchy - 9 years ago

No, there are too many technology-related things I love that Equestria lacks.

  • HydrusBeta - 9 years ago

Aw man, this was a tough question to answer. No doubt I would love to run away to Equestria, but leaving my family and friends behind without any warning or note? On the spur of the moment, I don't think I could do that. But, but... Equestria! T_T

  • Badly Drawn Turtle - 9 years ago

I… honestly didn't expect this question. I'd abandon Earth in a heartbeat, because any chance like this is a discovery of a lifetime; I'd be a pioneer, and adventurer of old! Similarly, becoming a pony wouldn't be that hard of a choice for me. My most treasured possession is my intellect, which is more curious than apprehensive about changing bodies.

Now, why female? I would say curiosity again, but I'm not actually entirely sure what my reasoning is. I could make up any number of excuses, but I really don't know why. Because.

  • Swash - 9 years ago

No, because I wouldn't be able to take my mentally disabled brother, who would be far better off in a much more caring and cheerful society. And if I did, it would still mean separating him from the rest of us, as well as the technology that entertains him or helps him communicate.

  • Discord Sparkle - 9 years ago

Sorry Equestria, but unless you have Pony Eiichiro Oda over there writing One Piece, I'm not leaving Earth

  • Frith - 9 years ago

122 votes in and 'staying human in Equestria' is beating 'becoming a male pony'! Oh those male ponies, so ugly, such short tails! Looks like people would rather be a pony's monkey pet than be a male pony! X^D
