Should the school have the right to close its playground to the public?

Public schools require ALL visitors to sign in at the office. This means technically, a playground during school hrs isn't a free and clear place for the public to use. Rarely is this enforced - except when daycares use school playgrounds for their business. It's a private school in the article - they woman should have let the school know her and the kids were gonna play there.

No, but there is a problem if the parent also happens to be a pedo or a child kidnapper. But sure, let's be realistic, that's probably not the case. What if the parent accidentally hurts another child - unintentional with no malice. Who's liability will respond? I'm thinking the school will be the first target.
