Have the creators of this survey watched any Sounders v. RSL match in the last 3-4 years? Just as significant to the western conference standings as a game against LA and almost as physical and gritty as a game against the Timbers. I know I'm pushing for the Sounders to dominate this list, but recent history shows that both teams are top notch and they hate each other.
Also, I agree that it's ridiculous to claim that any match up with the expansion teams would be a rivalry match already.
Which smart guy/girl decided to come up with this list when there is nothing listed about toronto vs vancouver or toronto vs montreal or montreal vs vancouver............

RBNY is on here three times and none vs. DC United? Does this poll even know real rivalries? No RBNY fan thinks Philly is a rivalry.

Of the 10 rivalries in the original list, 8 involve LA, Seattle, NYRB, or Toronto.

East Coast by us having New York matched up with so many teams and not talking about RSL vs Kansas City RSL vs LA Portland vs Seattle it's just a joke having New York with so many rivals this is soccer not the NFL there so many better rivalries out there without having a New York team attached to it open up your eyes and watch other teams besides New York whoever put this list together this list is just weak

@Ben: Dallas-Chicago stems from when Dallas was called the Burn instead of FC Dallas. Someone got the idea that "Fire and Brimstone Cup" would be a great idea.
im pretty sure chicago considers Columbus or New England as rivals, not Dallas and Kansas
