This should not be happening. No American President and no American Secretary of State should have to be defending themselves against a foreign leader's assertion of what should be our behavior. For the US congressional leadership to be taking positions against the President or Secretary of State on the advice and with the help of a foreign leader is seditious. It should be repugnant to every American including those in the Republican Party.
