I love a good, steamy sex scene, but if there is no emotion involved and/or nothing happens before, during, or after the sex to advance the plot, it ends up being nothing more than tab A being inserted into slot B. I need an emotional connection to the characters before a book gets me all hot and bothered. Kind of like real life. lol!
