When Michael Muhney came on to the Y & R, he absolutely made it HIS OWN. He was thrown so many difficult story lines and difficult curves but just kept on meeting the acting challenges head on. That takes great acting skill.
It was grossly unprofessional and evil to spread ugly rumors about him and yes, I really do believe that karma will visit ALL those people that were involved in the whole ugly mess. Justin is doing a good job, but Michael's shoes will NEVER be filled, Miss seeing him on my TV so much. Wish him all the success in the world. Preferably on Prime Time. God Bless Michael AND his whole family.

As much as I would like to I just can't watch that show anymore. Since Michael and Billy left it's not worth my time. I have tried. Michael Muhney is Adam.

Michael Muhney was the greatest no one will ever capture the character like he did. He was the best actor that show ever or will ever have had. haven't watched that show since he left after 40 yrs. don't miss at all.

Gabriel Bingham. Michael Muhney is irreplaceable! No one can bring the drama and the layered nuances to the role as Michael did. No one!! Michael created the role; Chris Engen was only in the role for a few short months and did not make the role his own. Engen did not want to portray the role as Y&R demanded and Chris quit. Michael was hired by Maria Bell to eventually replace Eric Braeden as the patriarch of Y&R. Braeden would have none of it. And the result is that Michael is no longer on the soap.

Hunter King did NOT publicly make any accusations. TMZ reported that Angelica McDaniel fed them the story through her husband Brian McDaniel who works for TMZ. Soap producers know that it is Jill Farren Phelps modus operandi to fire soap actors and replace them with her friends (FOJ). Every hire since Phelps was hired has been one of her friends, whether they can act or not. Good example is Burgess Jenkins who is one of her friends and is terrible in the role of Billy Abbott. Horrible!! Phelps fired Anna Lee from General Hospital after Anna was promised a lifetime role. Anna died shortly after. Jeanne Cooper was allowed to finish her role. Eric Braeden will also...Braeden will die in the role.
For once you soap rag guys could stop writing about untrue stories. I know you are trying to make a living but make it on the back of someone other than Michael Muhney,

Michael Muhney will always be the REAL Adam in my eyes. Justin is stepping into the role well as almost any actor worth their weight would do, however, he is not no will he ever be Adam to me. I miss the sneakiness/snarkness of Michael and that is not a duplicate type of acting that is easily obtained. Now, just waiting for Michael to show up on my favorite soap General Hospital.

MUHNEY was FIRED. As women, we should be celebrating companies who protect their employees ... Even if it means being harassed by out-of-their-skulls Stans for doing the RIGHT THING.
Hartley had NOTHING TO DO with Muhney's TERMINATION.

Micheal Muhney cannot be replaced as Adam Newman. The writers just need to give up trying to replace him I have tried to watch Y & R without Michail, to no avail. After 40 years, I am not interested in watching the program.

Y&R is DEAD to me!! I had watched Y&R since day one - but when Phelps arrived & destroyed the show, it became so boring & the ONLY reason I continued to watch it was for Michael Muhney! He is the BEST (by far) male actor on TV & certainly the best Adam! I stopped watching the show after Muhney's last episode - have NEVER looked back - and NEVER WILL watch it again! I started watching General Hospital where so many of my favs from Y&R had gone: Abby, Diane, Deacon, Phyllis & now BILLY!!! All GH needs is Michael Muhney! I have enjoyed watching Muhney in the work he's done since leaving. But for y&r....I've never missed it! The last laugh has been on y&r & phelps for not listening to the fans!!!!
