I don't think a 6 and a 10 yr old should be walking alone. I know some parents don't think of the danger out there. I guess they don't read or don't watch
the news. Look how many kids are kidnapped! This really makes me upset, even if this are not my kids, I feel so sad, the kids don't know danger! I dont understand this type of parenting and never will!!!

If it was only a few blocks it would be okay but not a mile by themselves.

Your poll question was incomplete. I understand the children walk a MILE alone. The distance should have been included in the poll question.
