They are all awful! I propose Hartford Capitols. They might be called Caps for short.

I think most of these names are horrible! Where'd they get them?? From a bunch of 3 year olds?? I mean really what on earth is a whirley bird, river hog, or yard goat? And honey badgers and blue frogs---do we even have them in CT? And while I know we like the praying mantis here, it's a little weird for a baseball team name. If you want something representative of our state perhaps the Taxmen is a good name since we have some of the highest taxes in the country.

I truly enjoy the Rock Cats in New Britain. I wish they were not building a new stadium in Hartford and the money could be spent elsewhere.
