How about we get to vote on when politicians salaries go up....or not???

You should also run a poll on whether Social Security payments should go up to cover inflation, or whether Congress should vote on it every year, since that is the real question with the gas tax.

Why such limited choices, as if it's an automatic assumption that it will be raised--because, let's be real, if the General Assembly votes on a tax it's going to pass. How about "The General Assembly will debate the need for a gas tax increase when needed?" Or better yet, "The General Assembly will discuss cuts to areas of the budget so as to give hardworking, long overtaxed Marylanders a much deserved break from an annual tax increase?" A little political moderation from WJZ, and especially CBS, would be refreshing, too.
