I’ve always liked the concept of a Wrangler, but never could tolerate the undependability and poor fit-and-finish of Chrysler now Fiat products. I’d welcome a GMC/Chevy with removable roof that looked like the Hummer HX/H4 or even a Land Rover Defender. But if it’s a fixed roof vehicle, then why bother?

Make it to specs of HX concept you'll have hit a home run! Add a diesel option and you'll have hit it out of the park! Currently own 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 a 2003 H2 both purchased new as well as a 95 LR defender 90 nas . Build I'll pick up mine on the way to Moab!

Please do make one and make sure it is compatible with the financial demographics of those buying Wranglers. What good is it if you have to be in the top 10% of working incomes to afford it?

If Aldred wants to expand the line and take advantage of GMC moving more upscale, he'd be better off taking on Range Rover. Let Chevy take on Wrangler.

This is Great News :-) and GMC Is the Perfect Fit...A lot of Professional people, are Wrangler owners, and they trick them out, to the Max...and they own multiple vehicles, like trucks, SUV's, etc...a Wrangler beater, would bring them to their GM Dealer, for other vehicles also...Great Idea...GM Is Back!!
