The Legislature is pondering a very high tax on sugary drinks and even adding candy bars to the regular sales tax. What do you think?

Yes to both. Obesity and Type 2 diabetes are major contributors to chronic disease and high health care costs.

Just the sugary drinks, which are really the problem, no point in over-doing it.

Just the candy bars, which is a much more modest increase.

No to either, there's a whiff of sanctimony here. If we're going to raise taxes for something worthwhile, we should all pay in.

No to either, we're already at a tax dis-advantage and this will drive more consumers over to New Hampshire.

What a pile of fools we have running our state. It is not the governments job to keep us healthy and this is again a tax that will in the long run cost our state revenue as we will lose stores that are close to the boarders of other states.

Only a complete idiot would vote Yes for this and we know the Democrats/socialist will and they won't listen to true reason, just as they did with our health care. (Which has gone so well)
