Republicans believe what their campaign contributors want them to say and do. How can one party be so out of touch with reality and still survive?

The debate on Climate Change is over, now we need adults who will take action to help prevent the damage due to raising seas, salt water infusion of our drinking water, droughts and increase of extreme weather and temperatures. All these will be costly to our economy, we need measures to mitigate that damage.
Our legislature with the leadership of our Governor seem ignorant of all these issues, at the eventual high cost to Florida businesses and residents.

He should spend some time in Miami, whose streets now flood with just a three foot tide - and with seas expecting to rise more than four feet in the next century, "climate change" and "global warming" are not just esoteric ideas, but real problems now. It's too bad the Republican party continues to keep its collective head in the sand about this dangerous issue but because they do, the whole country is going to suffer from their intellectual timidity and denial.
