Do you want Kroger to open a new grocery store in Southlake?

This poll is very misleading. Kroger is trying to force their presence in the market. Even if the community has need for an additional grocery store, which is a questionable case, the poll fails to mention that Kroger's intent is to use a loophole in Southlake's zoning laws to deface a beautiful expanse of treed Southlake land with a 100,000+ square foot eyesore.

Grapevine is in great need for a grocery store. All of us are tired of driving to Southlake. Everything keeps moving to Southlake. I like spending my money in Grapevine! We need to get something on northwest highway and Texas Trail. Thank goodness for braums....

This is not just another new grocery store for Southlake. Kroger wants to build a HUGE development on the corner of Dove and 114 - an area already overloaded with traffic during rush hour. They want to side-step Southlake's most recent tree preservation ordinance and clear-cut acres and acres of trees from this location. They are refusing to work with the citizens of Southlake and are threatening the city with litigation if they don't get their way.
