Will you still visit Mukilteo's Lighthouse Park if you have to pay $2 an hour to park?

no issue with paying, but you forgot something. I visit relatives on Whidbey and now Im forced to take the ferry. I won't be spending another dime in Mulkilteo. !!!!

Fees, Fees and more Fees just another name for taxing us to death. Vote in a democrat admitstration to city hall and there they go again. They just can't help themselves lets charge a fee for this and charge a fee forb that anything to raise our taxes. Lighthouse Park belongs to the people first not the government. Pretty soon they will charge a fee for the air we breath. Our freedom is slipping away from us everyday even the enjoyment to use a public park that should be free to anyone.

We pay for parking almost everywhere else. If it helps keep the park clean and facilities in working order, I'm okay with it. I have tried to park there before to launch my boat, but the lot was full. I doubt a parking fee of $8 is going to prevent people from launching boats.
You can whine about it all you want, or you can suck it up and deal with it. Ya, Bruce, that's you buddy ;)

Am thinking that the fee will cut down on boats (other than local) launching from this site. Unless of course there is a flat rate for all day vehicle/trailer parking that is reasonable.

When I visit the park it usually involves a trip to visit some shops and walk around. The fee seems like such a way of telling people that they don't really want visitors. Most small towns look for ways to attract visitors, but
Mukilteo is saying visitors aren't welcome.
