Should sports betting be legalized?

YES: Hands down. Lotteries and casinos notwithstanding, sports betting is happening anyway, and legalizing it would bring it to the light of day, eliminating corruption. And let's not forget how much cash-strapped states could benefit from the extra revenue.

NO: Need we mention the negative side effects of gambling? More gambling means more crime, addiction and costs to tax payers. And even legal betting can give way to game fixing, which will ultimately jeopardize the integrity of the game.

UNSURE: It's not a slam-dunk idea. Maybe gambling's not the greatest, but there probably shouldn't be a federal ban on sports betting. Let each state decide what happens there.

No, more crime??? Ummm, if it's legal it is no longer a crime, unless this refers to the extra strong arm robberies that legal gambling leads to.
