James Corden is a breath of fresh air from the same ole same ole late night comedy routine. I love his ideas which for some may seem silly but he still manages to keep it light. As a viewer I feel as though we get more personality from each and every guests due to Corden. Carpool karaoke is the best idea, been hooked to show ever since!!!! Sia, Adele and Chris Martin rocked it. Did I mention Corden can sing?? I love to hear him as much as the musician:)

I was not impressed. First, Corden seems to have channeled Jimmy Fallon's annoying habit of laughing at his own jokes, the main reason I don't watch Fallon. The idea of interviewing both guests together was awkward. Who's the shaggy announcer/sidekick? Although he did have the funniest bit of the show when he gave the preview of shows to come this week. And the darkness! It seemed to me the set is poorly lit. Overall feeling of dread with dark corners, shadowy recesses. I say, bring back the guy from India.
