Anybody who has a lot of influence and power over people(even young people) are a leader in someway. Her fame musically is world wide. Thank God she's a good person, who cares about her fans and role she plays. You down voters are looking at this very narrowly.
She's more of leader than hildabeast

Hillary would respond but her server in down forever. In other news Moochelle plans to fly around the world on the taxpayers dime to show Fortune what a inspirational leader she is. Rest assured this is not your father's America.

She's a perfect leader for morons and sheep.

To see that 42 percent of people voting actually agreed just shows the dumbing down of America is complete as posted by another comment. No wonder the Europeans and the rest of the world laugh at us. Hunger Games, here we come.

Maybe in the anglo world. Most of humanity does not even know who is this woman Arrogant statement

All business is show business and that includes politics, the biggest business of all. The other leading female entertainers, Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren, have been eclipsed.

How can people that are so smart can get this statement so wrong! Ms Swift can be labeled one of the world's greatest entertainers and even one of the most influential persons of our day but defenitely not one of the world's great leaders, period. What significant achievement has she earned to make our society better? Wow, what an insult to humanity!

I think Forbes meant Swift was the best female leader in the broadest sense of the word, not just politics. She made her way through sheer gets and talent. She doesn't pretend to be someone on a pedestal, which is what a good leader does. She's proven to be a modest, thankful, and generous talent. That, to me, makes her a great leader for especially females because she hasn't used sex or weirdness or drama as a way to make it. She used her talent. I vote yes!

This is ridiculous. In what way does she LEAD in any significant way? You have got to be kidding me. My vote is a resounding NO!!

    Who???

  • Junipur C - 9 years ago

Except for possibly Andrea Merkel of Germany, when you, compare Swift to the likes of Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama or any of the incredibly incredible women in the Obama administration, then yes, Taylor Swift is by far a better leader and role model for girls and women.

Taylor is an ethical, moral, compassionate, self-reliant and creative icon for youth to emulate. In other words, she is a great leader. And she has more scruples in her pinky finger than the charlatan in the WH, who is not a leader by any reasonable gauge.

Actually, this young woman is an outstanding leader. If any of the four previous posters had bothered to do minimal research, they would have discovered that she works tireless as a positive roll model for today's young women. In addition, she does make all of her decisions, as she has been doing since beginning her professional career. For readers who have no capacity to do their own research, here is a cut from 60 minutes that will help explain it to you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9d3Rhcbt6Y

She's an attractive child. Leader? Meh, not so much.

BTW. Being a military machine is nothing to be proud of. Dismantle World Police USA.

We should have special ops - and nothing else.

Examples? Finland. 50k spec-ops troops vs the might of USSRs Red Army.

The Finnish won. A handful of ST6 took out what "the might of the greatest war machine" couldn't do.

Invest in programs that work, eliminate programs that don't.

Half of successfully managing a business or brand is knowing when to hire the right professional to operate any particular segment of a business.

So tell me, geniuses - how many of you have operated a business?

Anyone? Any of you? No-one? I thought so.

She runs a highly successful brand, which I find annoying. She's successful nonetheless - far more successful than any of us.

So sit on your hands gentlemen, and languish in your trailer parks. As much as you wish to call her an idiot, a joker, etc -

    Taylor's more of a MAN than you'll ever be. ; )

  • Natalie - 9 years ago

Turn out the lights, lock the door, say goodnight. The dumbing down is complete. Maybe in 2016 we can give the keys to the greatest military machine the world has ever known, and the most powerful economy ever seen, to Taylor too. Good gawd. So many of my fellow Americans evidently have the IQ of a turnip. Meaning no offense to turnips.

You have got to be kidding.

  • Jason - 9 years ago

She's an entertainer, a 'Court Jester' in another era. She sings, dances and maybe plays "pretend" on a screen. She has handlers. She is no leader. This is idiocy!

  • mike robinson - 9 years ago

40% of you are idiots. She has managers making her decisions. she's never led shit.
