My biggest noise complaint in Longmont is the crazy guy with headphones on that walks around town yelling at people. He walked into Lucky's the other day and just walked in and out screaming. He is a nut.
Also, the transient population doing and selling heroin among other things right on main st and all around Roosevelt Park is getting annoying. I called on several of them and now the picnic tables seem to have been moved and not an issue.
There are homeless people that accept help and try to better their lives. Then there is everyone that hangs out in Longmont taking the Flex bus totally messed up on drugs. Real Drugs.

Sirens, Longmont has more sirens.....

I was sitting here reading stuff and listening to the different noises that are going on around me. Trains, boom cars, motor cycles, planes and choppers and the kids. What I noticed were the different sounding planes and I started thinking back when we racing at CNS and we had to meet a db level. We did this with mufflers and exhaust pipes of different lengths. I don't know about airplane engines but could this be of a help?

Saying that skydiving operations were there when you moved to Longmont is analogous to saying that motorcycles existed when you were born. No one moves near an airport and expects constant noise from a profit-driven skydiving company. People have a right to enjoy their homes without the sound of skydiving operations or motorcycles or barking dogs. Fortunately, there are neighborhood noise ordinances to control the last two.

The skydiving operation is no longer an appropriate activity to take place at this airport, now that the city zoning has allowed hundreds of homes to be built within the flight box.

People who have nothing better to do than complain about noise.

The most annoying source is the people who complain about airplanes after they move next to an airport.

We should start a petition for AmTrak to have all the train tracks moved, even though they were there when we bought our houses.
This is similar to asking a skydiving operation (that was there before you bought your house) to stop flying from the Airport (that was there before you bought your house).
