Do you feel that landowners like the one in Thorp have the right to kill game animals on their property and leave the meat to rot?

Yes, I agree with him that he has the right to defend his property from deer by killing them.

No, this is the animals’ home and he should have looked into other non-lethal alternatives.

I’m for legal sportsmanlike hunting, but not this wasteful extermination.

What if everyone took this position and slaughtered every animal on his/her property? If you live in a rural area, there are animals there. If he is so offended by animals on his property, perhaps it's time to rent an apartment and move to the city. I hope he is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and receives the maximum penalty.

There is deer fencing available and other deterrents. No one else in the area is killing off wildlife!
