it does not appear she was in a stressful moment as she stated in her apology. The apology is just trying to save her job. She appeared calm and downright mean, rude and appeared to be just part of her character. I can't imagine that ESPN would want their name associated with someone of such poor character. She was told she was on camera and went on with her rant.

  • kth - 9 years ago

Well , as you all know this is one of the freest country in the world. Good or bad! Nothing should happen to her job! She was not on there clock nor was she representing where she works nor in there clothing.

Britt is great, any one would lose it if their car gets towed for some stupid reason… Tow Truck Elvis took my car in San Francisco and I f* bombed him like I had Tourette’s… many of these tow truck companies are in deals with cities that qualify as scans… (Google San Francisco hates cars)… when you are pissed off about it you are going to unload on the first person involved… like a cashier… which is normal in any business… he who is not guilty cast the first stone!

  • rachel - 9 years ago

honestly cant stand tow companies they are worse than the mafia. deal with them all the time since i am an insurance adjuster. they add all kinds of bogus charges like "yard fees, " and "administrative costs," not to mention their outrageous daily rates. there should be a special statute to keep them in line bunch of opportunist crooks and should be investigated.

  • Antonio Montana - 9 years ago

By the way the look on the dizzy blonde's face when the clerk told her she was on camera was PRICELESS! They should use it for a Mastercard commercial. ;)

  • Antonio Montana - 9 years ago

I voted for the tow company, but my vote really is for the Lady that this ignorant, primadonna, called fat and uneducated. First let's visit why this blonde dizz is there to begin with. Who was the one who got her car towed? Weather it was legally or illegally towed, it had nothing to do with the clerk, she didn't tow it. Secondly, if she was upset because her car was towed, and she made those comments in the heat of the moment, then why didn't she take it up with management. It's obvious to me it's in her character to speak to people that way, I'm sure she's done this before, she just happened to get caught on video this time. And lastly, if she was so educated and had a degree, by the way what would her alma mater think her little tirade and choice of words, which had nothing to do with what happened, then why didn't she take the high road like she said in her twitter apology, which she probably didn't even write herself, some PR Person probably wrote that for her. I think she's got no class and is ignorant, if there's anything she can learn from this, she can learn how much class and restraint that clerk showed at that moment. If that were me, I would have lost my job, but I would have told her to go fuck herself! As for ESPN, shame on them! One week, what a joke! She should have been fired! I've seen people get fired for less, I guess there ok with self-centered primadonna's representing them. I guess we know now what they stand for. Shame on the dizz and shame on ESPN!

  • Heather - 9 years ago

Well first off - when Advanced Towing leaked the video - it was heavily edited.
2nd - Gina (the girl behind the register) was taunting Britt and Britt was just giving it right back. I have no idea what happened before Britt started going off b/c they edited that out... but reports are coming out confirming that Gina was taunting her.
3rd! Apparently they tried to sell the video to ESPN... sounds like extortion to me
4th - More reports from ESPN: Britt was going to go in person to apologize but ESPN told her not to waste her time.

I say: she shouldn't have apologized at all!!! TEAM BRITT over here!!!!
    SHUT DOWN ADVANCED TOWING!!!!!!

  • Commentator - 9 years ago

    1. If she is educated person -- she won't use fowl language.
    2. Blonde pretty face does not make a right to verbally abused someone else because the clerk work at towing company with the possibility being paid low hourly.
    3. Educated people should not be judgmental toward overweight people knowing that she could of eat something one day and made her stomach bloating all the time, or poisoned her body that will ruin her body and face.
    4. By and large, she is being unethical. Working on TV but treated others poorly because she only look into her own lens. You are public figure therefore, this behavior is unethical. There lots of blonde white women out there who has talent, education and moral value.

  • alan - 9 years ago

2 issues. Girl working for towing company is making an honest living trying to support her family, or herself. Nothing wrong with that and doesn't make her responsible for the predatory actions of the company. The reporter showed possibly the most honest example of what type of human being she is.

  • Liz - 9 years ago

I don't care if you have been towed or not. The whole attitude to the person who works at the desk is deplorable. You are in the public eye and act like that oppose to taking proper measures....grow up!

  • Stone Thrower - 9 years ago

How many of you commenters have had your car towed ... for any reason, right or wrong? Were you feeling kind an loving toward the towing company or any of their employees when you went to get your vehicle? She probably cringes when she sees this story and the comments. Her job is now in jeopardy! For those of us who threw her under the bus remember John 8:7 ( So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. )

Predatory towing companies are a plague to society. I met a girl one evening and we went to my place so I could change and then we were going out. The apartments have limited parking space and you must display a decal to keep from getting towed. The towing is supposed to go into effect at 11:00 PM and this is prominently displayed on several signs. This was 6:30 PM and her car was there for less than 10 minutes. Came back out and saw the wrecker heading down the road with her car in tow. We jumped in my car, caught up with the wrecker at a light and I ran up to the wrecker and told him he had made a mistake and asked him to pull over to we could discuss. He told me to F**K Off and raced away. I followed him to the impound lot (2 miles away) and we to see the chickenshit that ran the operation. They talked to us like the police usually do. We had no rights, the old policy had been changed by the apartment complex and towing was now enforced 24 hours a day. I had to pay $240 for a 2 mile tow and a 15 minute stay at the impound lot. I used language that would have made a sailor blush. I called the rental company and told them I was moving out because of what happened and they informed me the policy had never been changed and the wrecker company was acting on its own. So the wrecker company lied to me and when I went back to get my money they threatened me with a weapon and a threat to call the police. I told them to call the police and when the cops showed up they said there was nothing they could do. Further checking found the police get a cut of every tow and it is easier on the police department if the wrecker companies enforce the towing on their own. That keep them from tying up police officers to keep private parking controlled. I am not a blonde and I am well educated and what she said on the tape is nothing. You people give me a huge pain by saying she had no right to act as she did. She had every right and when this happened to me again years later I was in a carry state and the wrecker operator quickly lowered my car and drove off when I showed him my weapon. This guy was going to tow my car because I was parked at a closed gas station because the restaurant next door had no parking available because of construction in the complex. The gas station was owned by his sister and if you went up to the door of the closed station there was a 4 x 6 inch card that said no parking when the station was closed. They had already towed four cars before they picked mine up. And you liberals think this is okay.

  • btt - 9 years ago

The question is whose side are you on? Not what your personal experience is with tow truck companies.
So many comments here making it about 'me'.

I don't are if this tow truck company is in the wrong for towing her car. That's what you have small claims court for. Take them to court, prove your case, get your fees back.

What you don't do is take it out on the clerk behind the window who almost certainly did not tow your car.

This woman is just an ugly human being who had no qualms at all about taking her frustrations out on whoever was handy - to the extent of bullying because she perceives herself somehow better than the clerk.

So how does ESPN react to this situation of one of it's employees? They suspend her for a week.
She should have been fired on the spot.

  • Phil - 9 years ago

My car was towed by the same company in the same area two years ago and this was on a Sunday morning when there was only 3 cars in the parking lot and I went across the street for 15 minutes and my car was gone when I came back. I saw the tow truck sitting across the street watching to see where people go. I had to pay for a cab to take me to the lot to receive my car and had to pay $125.00 to get it out. I understand when there is a lot going on to watch the parking lot but not on a Sunday morning when nothing is hardly open. I understand her strong emotions but sometimes you have to keep it inside of you. That company definitely is not running the business legally and I was a victim of the same company that Britt McHenry was. I even wrote the owner of the parking lot a letter and never heard anything.

  • John Reader - 9 years ago

At some point in time everyone has had an experience with a company that made them angry. Most people in that situation would let the company know how they felt about the issue. I have let people know how upset I was but without getting personal about the person. Making the comments about the persons looks, teeth, size, education, etc is the sign of a person who grew up with a silver spoon in their mouth. One comment I read was can you imagine being married to this person? I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. I also read comments about the person behind the counter not being a nice person either. Can you imagine dealing with this type person all of the time? I wouldn't be nice either. The bottom line is that there is a way to deal with the situation without getting personal. After all of the comments I have read I'm sure that Britt now wishes she had handled the situation differently. I wonder if she loved all of the comments that people have made about her just like she made about the counter person and if she has been offended by them? There are many people in the world that believe their status affords them special treatment.

  • The real Jackson - 9 years ago

I'd like to see the complete UNEDITED recording beginning when she enters the building. No doubt she was rude and demeaning, but I also suspect Gina wasn't exactly bending over backwards to de-escalate other than threaten to release the video. And, it was irresponsible for "news" organizations to run with anything other than the full story.

If you drive a vehicle on to property that's not yours, you better take a good look around as it's your responsibility to know what's around you & the rules that go with it. Businesses & Local ordinances are forcing the issue do to some problem that has occurred in the passed. If a place is closed & it's not your property expect it to be gone when you get back. Most localities even make you pay fine on top of it. It's a way of Policing an area for trouble. Consider it Police Enforcement. Don't like the rules, walk, take a bus/taxi. Business owners have a right to protect their investment.

I'm a delivery driver for a major grocery service, I go into NYC all the time. Where would you like me to park a 70' tractor trailer to make convenience store deliveries? We get tickets all the time. It's part of during business as my company sees it at a cost of $10,000/month. If you've ever been to NYC, then you know parking is something like you've never seen before. It's like an insurance commercial where the truck is trying to squeeze into a parking spot that he thinks he can fit into, but never makes the connection until he totals the car.

beauty is only skin deep ugliness on the inside always seeps through. Brit obviously holds herself on a pedestal above the rest of us. Well Brit join the rest of us in the real world there is nothing special about you. Is ESPN this desperate for ratings? Pretty doesn't trump being a disrespectful I'm think I'm all that bitch.

  • Team Britt - 9 years ago

All these people voting for the tow company obviously don't live in the area. If they did, they would know that Advanced Towing deserved much worse. Gina (the lady behind the desk) is just as bad as those who do the towing. She's rude and nasty - terrible customer service. Britt didn't even raise her voice. Give her a break. If your car got towed without reason you would be upset too.

She was illegally parked, & she got towed!!!!....Simple....A long time ago I worked for a tow company that had to do re-pos, etc, & every time, the owners, etc were all upset with us for doing our job!!!!....The fault is with them, for failing to follow the rules. I might add that this person is nothing more than an overpaid stuck-up "Bitch"!!!! shits on other people when she gets caught screwing up!!!...Oh yeah, she doesn't make mistakes like parking in a no-parking area....

  • LeicaMan - 9 years ago

Well....I most likely have more education and professional certifications that this "News Person" but, i would never behave this way. She is pathetic and should be fired and banned from her profession. Success is not measured by money nor education. Success is measured by doing what you do well. Many people are not able or not given the opportunity that others are and do jobs that may not be their preference but, I respect ANYONE that is working instead of collecting a welfare check as they are contributing to society rather than just taking from society. God bless the people that wait our tables, pick up the trash, police our streets and even tow the cars that are parked in the wrong spot. It's YOUR fault silly little "News Person" not the towing company. Quit blaming others for your misfortune and go look in the mirror. You will find your problem looking straight back at you!

  • Donna Abbott - 9 years ago

Britt may be a pretty blond, but her inner beauty is slim and none and slim walked out the door. It is one thing to complain about the towing. However, she got personal !!! What a bully!!! This is not her first time to berate another person. ESPN should fire her! What a shame.

  • TinaJ - 9 years ago

Fire her. She is a self centered narcissistic witch. Everyone who has parked illegally has been towed at one time. The person behind the counter puts up with an amazing amount of crap and deals with her tirade attacking the clerk's looks is unforgivable. Being on TV does not make you sacrosanct and above the law. Two hours is more than a minor slip up. She parked there because she felt Privileged. I will be interested in how her interviews go when she comes up against the Big Brother of a tow company clerk.

  • Barack Obama - 9 years ago

You must be related to Britt McHenry. Clearly you identify with her entitled, Republican ways.

    Loser.

  • Yvette Bravo - 9 years ago

Everyone that is in her favor has demonstrated no values or education. Britt should not represent that tv station. If she was my employee I will not keep her. I can not believe she even has a college degree. This is an example of uncontrollable rage. I can not imagine how she acts in the road when someone cuts her off. No class at all. :(

  • Kerri S - 9 years ago

Even if the tow company is "predatory" that does not excuse Lil Ms Uppity from the way she speaks to people. I'm quite sure the lady who was at the counter wasn't the one who towed her car. And by her acting the way she did-that shows she has a sense of entitlement and she has a "holy(er) than thou" attitude. Maybe the tow truck employee wanted to go to college, but her family was too poor to send her, or maybe she had a catstrophic incident happen to her which made it impossible for her to go to college. As this "lady" proves-just because you have a college degree does not make you smart. This "news lady" reminds me of a tird wrapped up in a lovely gift box. She is cute on the outside but obviously on the inside she is extremely ugly and smelly!

  • Hs - 9 years ago

An education, wealth, looks are all gifts we have, earned sometimes but often times because of privileges we have. One should never assume others do not have them because they refuse to earn them. Worse, one should not put others down if they lack the cognitive ability or financial abilitt to earn these. This woman shouldn't just be suspended, she should be fired. I do not think she understands how awful her behavior was.

  • John - 9 years ago

The substance of this conversation is lost we can begin to solve a problem by taking sides a summing that's why we are here.
Most people are making this about themselves about past experiences
This is about core values and what will make us better here now and long term.
It's not about what happened to her but how she choose to respond. Words can be very painful and you treat a towing company like that but yet you want them to be fair know how we feel about them I'm not sure this situation can have a happy ending for any one the more we push the more they take.
Let's be mindful always ask your self is what I say or do likely to bring me close to what I want or push me farther a part

  • Matt - 9 years ago

Just like a parking meter maid that tickets you even though your meter didn't expire, I bet the same thing happened here. Some low life, uneducated piece of scum, trying to get her back for having a nicer car. I dealt with degenerates like this before and as far as my experience goes Britt is in the right. She shouldn’t have apologized to that dirt bag!!!

Terry - Gina from Advanced Towing is not "common folk". I have met her. NOT a nice person. I guarantee she provoked it.

  • Donna Jean - 9 years ago

The tow company is predatory no question, absolutely no question. This prissy little self entitled ,self absorbed, foul mouthed woman still had no right blaming the woman trying to help her get her car back. She showed her true colors, of who she really is and what she really thinks of others in comparison to herself. She got her car towed just like any of us would have got our car towed. She had to pay just like we would have to pay. She thinks because shes on TV, and blond, and everyone tells her how stunning she is that the rules don't apply to her. Because she is on tv she could have exposed the tow company for what they really are. Instead she just showed who she really is and what shes all about. My family and my friends love sports we won't watch anything if she is on it from now on. The rep at the tow company had every right to just straight tell her off, but she was the one who took the high road. She is lucky if it had been me I would have told her about her filthy mouth and reminded her about how to carry herself like a lady and how she should be acting since she kept talking about her being on tv, and that she has a brain, and is so educated. All that prettiness, and education , but no class, or an idea of how to be a decent human being, guess that's not one of her skill sets. I guess college didn't teach you that. This is not the first time shes done this either. Well see her again in the future telling other hard working decent people how much they are beneath her.

  • Terry - 9 years ago

If the towing company had the right to tow her car is not the issue. The issue is that ESPN is allowing her to keep her job after that display. It is obvious that she feels a since of entitlement and thinks her job puts her in a position to talk down to "common folk". I guess ESPN thinks it's ok to bully people if your job pays more than theirs does. She should be fired!!!!!! The lady she verbally beat up didn't have anything to do with her car being towed. Just trying to make a living. Ms McHenry l, I'm real impresse with you!!!! Everyone should turn the channel until she is fired!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • KC - 9 years ago

Yeah. ***NEWSFLASH*** Towing companies suck. I've been there and wasn't happy either but I restrained myself. Alas, Miss McHenry was warned she was on video. She's not brilliant nor is she "all that and a bag of chips". There are hundreds of other similarly qualified, ambitious, heavily made-up young maidens in the DC area who could step into her job seamlessly. Yes, she "is sorry for her actions and will learn from this mistake" because nobody will ever let her forget this one. Get her out of my sight.

  • mark pearse - 9 years ago

they should fire her asap. lets see if a towing co. would hire the bitch.

  • Michael - 9 years ago

Britt was correct to be irate. I had a similar incident and the tow personnel were very obviously uneducated. As an example, the clerk said I was unable to hand him the funds to have my auto released by him for his safety, and I had to hand him the "cash only" through the slot in the protective window. He then walked out of the office to pull the auto out of where it was parked, brought it out, and handed me the keys? If he was so concerned about his safety, why would he then be out in the open with no cameras, no possibility of recording anything that I might do if I accosted him? He did have buck, gapped teeth and did speak as if he was quite uneducated. I totally understand Britt's anger. Only because he is a public figure was this incident singled out. I would have said whatever she said and more had I been in the same situation. I'm just sorry for her that her incident was made public.

I have been in the wrecker buisness for 40 years , owned a towing buisness with my father for 25 years, we have done these types of tows and seen alot worse done with people coming to get cars and berating us, I have learned to just let it go and allow them to speak there anger, what she does is not even close to being as bad as most that have come thru my companies doors in past and cussed me out, This company is a fly by night wrecker service that uses this typoe of towing as a last resort to make money because they cant keep there buisness with tow accounts, these days towing is a hard buisness to run with cars not breaking down as much as past, people know someone with a trailer to come haul there car for 20 dollars compared to 60 dollars, so towing companies resort to this last tactic THEFT by illegal parking, this fly by night company just has no shame whats so ever, they hide behind a wall, but when away from there buisness they act like its justified; its never justifed when steal a car when its only been a minute or 2 parked, much less take a car with a child inside, insulting people from there drivers is pathetic and shows bully tactics and will 1 day get them shot and killed by the wrong person; ESPN I hope does a under cover investigation into this company, would be awsome to see this company finally get busted and shut down and owners jailed along with the drivers. SIGNS by the city, state need to be posted at a correct height for illegal parking, land lot owners are suppose to sign paperwork when cars being towed,. not presigned; thats how it is in my state. I sold my towing buisness because I seen the way towing was going down in buisness and was I ever glad to get out when did, its been a nightmare and I have watched over 30 towing companies close shop and the rest open repair shops and do towing on side. advance towing is a fly by night service, anyone that sides with this company is either a friend of them or knows nothing about towing and going after barbie because she was abusive, well you hear some of the women that have come into my shop back in the day what she says is polite compared to those women, I thought they were going to come thru the bullet proof window...

  • chris parker - 9 years ago

No mater the reason, the basic respect for other people should be the rule. ESPN-DISNEY-ABC are doing a lot of shows on the hazards "BULLIEING" in schools and work places, and yet they won't do anything about it in their own environment . If she isn't fired, they will show me that their work is words only and that they don't believe that it applies to them. Disney is for children, what kind of message do they want to send to them

  • stuart meyers - 9 years ago

She should be given a reward not suspended! I have had similar experiences with towing companies. The scum bags lie and cheat then are rude and some times threatening when you confront them. They take advantage of people! I can imagine the attitude that the woman that worked there had when she went to pick up her vehicle. Do really think she was some kind of angle working there? I am sure that she gets something out of the scam some way! First they rip you off for the towing fee, damage your car then give you serious attitude when you confront them. Then you have no choice but pay so you can get your car back so you can go home. the last time my truck was towed it was parked legally I had to walk from the L.A. Coliseum thru east L.A in the middle of the night!!!! Then pay the fee then my engine blew up on the way home because the damaged the radiator when the towed it. And I never saw a penny !!! The Tow truck company should be closed down and the pay retribution to all of there victims.

  • lilshortdude - 9 years ago

Okay, I am a little person like the women on Little Women LA. We get belittled all the time because of our size so I am on the towing company's side. They were just doing their job and Britt had no reason to attack the woman about how many teeth she had, how fat she was, or where she worked. Britt should have to work at Walmart where you get hired no matter what you look like or what age you are or handicapped, then maybe she will know what working in the "real" world is among "real" people who aren't always so pretty as she thinks she is!!!

  • Jim - 9 years ago

  • Captain Tax - 9 years ago

This is a public personality behaving badly in private. Should she lose her job? That is just stupid. There is no innocent party here. The clerk is just doing her job? Did you ever try to reach a responsible person at a predatory towing company? I submit that her job is fronting for a hostile and frequently dishonest management who wants to be shielded from public access. So, yes. Part of her the job of cutting off access of customers with valid complaints to tow company management. That means she will field some venting from unhappy and unwilling customers. Some of those customers will say mean-spirited things. The tow company management is getting a free pass here in my mind. Regardless of whether or not this was a good tow, the company's character shows in the leaking of the video after they had already been paid. There is no economic or legal reason for its release. The sole purpose was to embarass a public personality who admittedly ought to be more embarrassed than she is.

This reporter is a sad example of the entitlement attitude so many people have. I would hope her parents are as disappointed in her as I am. She's a beautiful girl with an education and the world at her fingertips and needs to be taught a few lessons that she should have learned long ago. A few trips to church wouldn't hurt either. She needs to learn about sensitivity, being grateful, being humble and she needs to learn a LOT about compassion. What a little witch. She should be fired. Life sucks sometimes - she needs to learn that lesson and how to cope with the consequences of her OWN actions.

  • Lara - 9 years ago

are you serious? she is the face of ESPN. what do you think she represents! her name doesnt matter at the end of the day ppl will remember "that reporter from ESPN"

  • steve womack - 9 years ago

every one has a job, you might not thank so but we need tow companys . she was being mean to a person just doing her job

  • Ed J - 9 years ago

Of course there are predatory tow companies, and many of them are in the Washington/Arlington area. And many of them deserve to be put out of business. But the female attendant was simply doing her job and was roundly insulted by what appeared to be a spoiled brat. There were better ways Britt could have handled that situation. If she is as smart and capable as she thinks she is, she would have realized that she could have better and more appropriately vented her frustration and editorialized her dissatisfaction at a local ABC affiliate (maybe a "20/20" episode?). Doesn't ABC own ESPN? But instead, she showed the nation that she is a snobbish, insulting and insecure upstart who really seemed to enjoy belittling a person who was simply trying to do her job.

  • It's me - 9 years ago

The towing company deserves it. I hate towing companies they are shitty people if I was her I would of said so much worse.. Good job now I'll start watching espn bc of that thank you

  • MJB - 9 years ago

She was rude as heck but I've been ripped off by tow truck companies and COMPLETELY understand her position. Unfortunately, she took it out on the cashier and not the owner of the towing company.

  • sammy - 9 years ago

Get Rid of her!! why even bother having ppl like that.

  • Marty - 9 years ago

Britt mchenry should be fired for her poor choice of actions. How can anyone respect her after hearing that tirade. I'll stop watching ESPN if they don't get rid of this parasite. Disney has much better values than those expressed by Britt , don't. you Disney?

  • Heather - 9 years ago

I would like to see the first part of the video. Why do we have to walk around on egg shells. If you are treated badly by a company you should have the right to vent. I hope she sues them for releasing this video. If you work for predators be ready to be treated badly.

  • Ann Wyatt - 9 years ago

She should be FIRED!!! She may pretty with all that make up she has on, she is very ugly on the inside. Very disrespectful, no one should ever be treated like that period.

  • Angela - 9 years ago

I think they should fire her, not just suspend her. She showed a very ugly side of her personality and was WAY out of line for the insults she hurled at that girl.

Regardless of what the company does or does not do, this girl is just trying to make a living and this reporter should be ashamed of herself.

    What a bitch

  • Clark - 9 years ago

The company conduct is reprehensible and authorities should do something about it, but to take it out on what I hope is an innocent employee and berate and attempt to degrade them is also reprehensible. If someone is peed off at ESPN should she take the heat from it?

  • Munchkin - 9 years ago

I agree with those who said this is not work related. The reporter may have had a beyotch moment, but being fired for it is totally irrelevant.

  • colo - 9 years ago

Sadly I have been preyed on my this kind of Tow Truck company. Being handicapped and having your car towed illegally happens far to often. While she should have held her tongue I can understand her frustration.
Tow Truck company's like this one are the lowest form of scum

  • sealth - 9 years ago

It's time for ESPN to take out the trash! What you accept, you perpetuate. 5 days off is a vacation.

  • WIZ - 9 years ago

How can this woman remain on television after insulting not only the attendant, but women all over who are simply doing their legitimate job. She is a mean spirited and inside-ugly less than human being. She only faux apologized because of her career. College Degree? What did she learn in college? Social skills? Pretty dam stupid to go on a rant after the woman warned you that you were on video. I bet that if she came out from behind that counter, you attitude would have changed, cowardly lioness! ESPN should be completely embarrassed and even more so that they only suspended her for a week? If it was a man that berated that attendant that way, NOW and all kinds of protests would have occurred and he would have been fired and vilified! Damn shame ESPN and Ms. College Degree twit! SMH at your truly ignorant ugly persona. YOU need to lose some ugliness, 'Baby Girl'!

  • Burn - 9 years ago

Don't need a college degree to read a damn tow sign...

  • Cherylee Norko - 9 years ago

if this ignorant, arrogant, self entitled, poor example of a human being is allowed to keep her job, I will never watch ESPN again.

  • ShesAButtNut - 9 years ago

There's two kinds of people in this world. People who think it's okay to shit on other people and those who don't.

Anyone who's had a job dealing with the public would never treat someone that way who's just doing their job.

Considering she was warned about being recorded yet continued and living in the age of social media, I think a weeks suspension is rather lenient.

  • Tom - 9 years ago

what an ugly woman. I personally never want to see her fake her beauty on ESPN again.

  • ButchS - 9 years ago

FIRE HER! There is no excuse for this type of behavior. This wont be the last time shes pull this .. She needs to be schooled in being nice.. her apology was poor at best , and she only did it as a condition of her suspension...

  • Oh La La - 9 years ago

Looks Aren't everything, it's what inside that makes you Beautiful.
Not even your Education can make you look educated Dumb Blond, your Ghetto no matter what!!!! True fact.........I think yeah
    Fire her ghetto ASS

  • Scope - 9 years ago

FIRE HER! There is no excuse for this behavior no matter where the venue. ESPN needs to do the right thing.

  • Ash Req - 9 years ago

WHATEVER THE CIRCUMSTANCE. I just have to say whoever sided with this heartless Bitch for saying what she said are probably heartless people just like her. YOU DONT SAY THINGS LIKE THAT TO PEOPLE. ESPN should have fired her goes show whose side their on. They must talk to people like that too. FYI her apology was only to save her ass nothing more. WHATEVER THE CIRCUMTANCE good hearted people don't say things like that no matter how angry they get. I hope whoever she interviews treats her with the same dignity and respect that she showed that lady for doing her job and degrades her as a person. Whatever that lady did right or wrong she is a HUMAN BEING DAMN IT!

  • Gin - 9 years ago

I do not get these female sports reporters anyway. They think men will watch because she is attractive, what happened to athletes doing the reporting for sporting events? Are men that easy? Regardless of how ticked off she was about being toweed, her actions and words were/are low class. Apparently she has the metality that if you look good you can say whatever you want and get away with it. I believe she should be fired. I am not sure why ESPN would want someone representing their name that is a bully.

  • Jon - 9 years ago

I guarantee this bimbo has done this kind of tirade before. If I was espn I would have her apologize in person. I am sure her parents are so proud.

  • Jaded_GaL05 - 9 years ago

I'm not sure who in the hell Britt Henry thinks she is, but I know she's not above law in general. It's simple people, if you park illegally, you will be towed, END OF STORY. No take backs.

The towing company is doing there JOB, even if they hang around lots waiting for people to illegally park. How else will they know that a car is parked illegally? Send out flying drones with cameras attached? Seriously, every person complaining about being towed because THEY ILLEGALLY PARKED, they sound like spoiled f@c#ing brats. WTF is wrong with you people?

If you don't want to be towed, here's a thought, DON'T PARK YOUR CAR ILLEGALLY. So you park your car illegally & they tow it 5 minutes after you leave it, that's 5 minutes where your car was parked where it shouldn't be... You want someone to blame? Go stand in front of a mirror.

As for Britt sueing this company? God, I HOPE she does...if only to see a judge put this dumb c&nt in her place. She parked illegally, no matter when the tow company towed her car, they were within their rights to do so. Does she think she deserves special treatment just because she's a host on ESPN, for a sports show so insignificant that I had no idea who her dumbass was?

Just because she happens to be a TV personality, I use the term extremely loosely, and she happens to be pretty, it doesn't give her the right to talk shit at a person who is doing their job just because it inconveniences her. I wouldn't have been mad if the tow truck driver had hauled off & knocked some of her lovely white teeth out! The things she said? The b!t€h deserved it.

It all goes back to "don't shoot the messenger". This tow truck driver was performing a job, one that was within the law & one that wouldn't have to be done if Henry hadn't parked illegally. I've been towed for the same reason, it's really frustrating but it's not the tow truck drivers fault, IT WAS MINE. I paid the fine, got my car back & I don't park where I'm not supposed to & I I keep my parking permits up to date. Henry should do the same.

That being said, I noticed that a few of you were "gouged" for extra cash when you picked up your cars, in the form of tow truck companies claiming they'd had your car longer than they really did, etc., That type of operation is crooked & wrong, in this instance the tow company is out of line. But as far as them looking in lots to tow illegally parked cars? They're doing there jobs, so I can't find fault with anyone but the driver who parked the car there.

Henry was out of line with her comments, reaction & sense of self importance, just because she happens to be attractive & on tv does not give her the right to belittle others.

  • Jenny B - 9 years ago

Was she parked illegally?? If yes.... End of story! Made her own bed! May be less than perfect tow company but we're they in the right by the law? Just sayin? Doesn't excuse her ugly behavior. Pretty on outside but mean and ugly on inside! That "pretty" external appearance can be taken away in an instant!

  • Greg - 9 years ago

Wow, lighten up people. You think anyone/everyone should get fired from their job when they have the slightest display of frustration? I think we'd all be a bunch of unemployed assholes if that were the case. It wasn't that much of an "outburst" either. She isn't the only one who has been made to feel that way by this company either. Read the Yelp reviews:

Apologies/excuses are like ...HOLES, everybody has one. What a false, phony little bi..h. Every picture of her says that is the truth. Conceited BULLY. Obviously brainless about the impact/effect her behavior has on younger people especially. Spoiled little bitch is obviously all caught up with herself and totally ignorant of the good fortune she has in many ways. Very sad portrayal shown of herself, but obviously true. Sad.
Even more so, a true picture of CHRIS BERMAN and the Good Old Boys running ESPN. One week. Pitiful response shown to the younger generations that "learn" their behavior from bullies like her.

  • bob - 9 years ago

They should make her apologize in person so it can be recorded by the tow company.

  • Sir E - 9 years ago

    She oughta be fired!!!

It's no doubt she is BLONDE
IF you are really intelligent you could come up with better put downs then she did!

I will quit watching ESPN till she is gone!
    Get on board!

  • Luki Duki - 9 years ago

I've been towed by this particular tow company twice. The first time was my fault and I'll own up to it. The second time was from my own apartment complex parking lot. My parking sticker expired at midnight and they came in at 1:30AM and towed it. While they are doing their jobs the way they conduct themselves is sometimes suspect. Particularly when they stalk parking lots and wait for cars to be illegally parked and tow them immediately.

Britt should have had more class and just bit her lip and pay the $135. However, I've seen far worse behavior from other people trying to bail out their cars to the point Arlington police have to get involved. I feel these guys saw an opportunity to get back at her since she is a TV personality. #TeamBrittMcHenry

  • Kurt - 9 years ago

Britt is hot and hot women should get special treatment.

  • Carl Snyder - 9 years ago

She made some pretty petty and nasty comments to someone that did not deserve personal attacks and that is unacceptable but forgivable. It was a stupid mistake especially for someone that has such a publicly viewed job. What's not clear however is the reason that she feels wronged. I have personal experience with being towed and at the expense of painting broad strokes, I have to say that the towing industry on the whole is a crooked industry. I was towed and impounded once, and called the next day to find out what the cost would be to get my car back and got the total written down. Same day I went in to get my car and they stated that my car had been there two days longer than it had adding hundreds of dollars to the cost. I had no proof to dispute it. Crooked

  • John brown - 9 years ago
