Through the internet, I am able to comprehend how the world is getting organized on matters that affect humanity, e.g., MDGs and the SDGs. The technology has completely revolutionized the way we do things and have made our previous excuses, why we are unable to contribute a piece of our mind, entirely lame or unacceptable, at least to those who are involved in development work. The Internet definitely changed opportunities to inform about companies, some I never heard of, especially over the frontiers, in other countries. It gives me the chance to work out of big cities from a home office,

Yes, internet expands economic opportunities like, jobs, scholarships, etc. It is a very useful in daily life.
The internet has enabled me to link up with all stakeholders of Uganda's coffee industry and I am able to send market information on the direction of the domestic and global coffee markets on a daily basis.
I have also participated in a number of e-learning courses which have enhanced my analytical skills in many aspects: policy formulation, strategy development, gender related issues and many others. IT related packages have enabled us to also disseminate price information to farmers using the SMS facility. This has reduced information assymetry.

Definitivamente el internet mejora la busqueda de trabajo, crea nuevos puestos, y por ende los ingresos economicos pueden mejorar. Yas ea que se trabaje de lleno por internet o que sea un trabajo extra el internet nos ofrece muchas posibiliaddaes de mejorar nuestro trabajo, pero creo que será antes de 10 años, hoy mismo vemos como se necesitan gente preparada en las nuevas tecnologias y la verda es que no es ni muy dificil ni muy caro, estudiar casi es completamente gratis y se puede aprender gracias alos esfuerzos conjuntos de varias universidades (de diferentes partes del mundo) como coursera.org

Some institution have adopted working - from - home approach. This cannot happen without reliable internet connection, it saves time especially those that one has to spend on the road, hence reducing traffic jams, subsequently, internet can help offset avoidable costs.
