When deciding on a GOP candidate to support for the nomination, his/her position on illegal immigration is:

a litmus test issue for me. I expect him to commit to securing the borders and reverse the flow of illegal aliens.

a very important issue for me, but not a deal-breaker. I expect the GOP nominee to talk about securing the border, but would be open to a path to citizenship.

an issue that I want my nominee to be able to speak about in a way that appeals to general election voters. I think we cannot win the White House if we nominate someone who campaigns on stopping illegal immigration.

not an important issue to me because I feel that we have already lost this battle to special interest groups like the Chamber of Commerce.

Well, since this poll isn't going to actually list the text of the "other" responses, I put:

"Fire. Death. Suffering. Lamentations in Spanish. A wall built of skulls."

All that other stuff is pretty gay, man.
