The Knicks – only team to “lose” Tuesday night’s NBA draft lottery, falling to the # 4 slot despite the second best odds to land the first overall pick
The Mets – reportedly wanted new St. John’s head basketball coach Chris Mullin to throw out a ceremonial first pitch at Citi Field, but only if the school would buy 5,000 tickets for that night’s game
Jeffrey Loria – the Miami Marlins owner fired manager Mike Redmond on Sunday, replacing him with general manager Dan Jennings (whose most recent experience in a dugout was coaching Alabama high schoolers more than 25 years ago)
The Miami Dolphins – signed QB Ryan Tannehill (career record of 23-25) to a $96 million contract extension through 2020, including $45 million guaranteed
Robert Kraft – the New England Patriots owner, who demanded an apology when the “Deflategate” story broke, announced that he would NOT appeal his team’s $1 million fine and loss of two draft picks
Henrik Lundqvist - the Rangers goalie was beaten for 6 goals in Game 2 and 6 more in Game 3, losing both to the Tampa Bay Lightning
