The building owners are forced to absorb THOUSANDS of dollars when some of their residents move out, in damages and unpaid rent, and the process can take months. This is wrong! The owner is only allowed to charge them for the court filing fee and the sheriff's fees. In my 30 + years of property management, I have not seen anything like this. I am used to going to court AND having them out within the same month!
