I found a Jerry Rice as a Raider new in box at a yard sale in Buffalo NY for $1.50.

About 8 years ago, I was trolling ebay for New Orleans Saints items and I found a game ball that was given to Martin Chase for the Saints first playoff win ever in the 2000 season when they beat the defending champion Rams. I was told all the Saints players got one for the game. I only paid about $10 and I found out (via Myspace) that it was real from Martin Chase himself. Chase gave it to someone and they sold it at a garage sale for $1.50 (had price written on ball in pen). I'm sure it's worth a lot more than that. Who dat!

While not my favorite piece of memorabilia I own, this one has probably the best story. I, like most of you I'm sure, collected baseball and football cards when I was a kid (mid 70's-mid 80's). About 10 years ago, I was at my parents' house with my wife and decided to look through some old things in my old room. I found some shoe boxes full or baseball and football cards. While most were commons, I did end up finding two Joe Montana rookie cards! Of course, they had a rubber band around them keeping them with the rest of the 49'ers team set. Not worth much money as such but still a great find!

My favorite piece of memorabilia was won in a raffle at our local library - a ball signed by the Buffalo Bills (whole team including all the 90s HOFers - Jimbo, Thurman, Bruce, Andre, & Lofton). Cost me $1.00.

I found a one of a kind Old School Seahawks blue polyester bell bottom jumpsuit that had a Largent/Zorn style facemasked hawks helmet patch sewn to the back with the name Larry embroidered on the front. The sleeves were cuffed in silver trim as were the pleated insert on the bell bottoms. It had a false elastic belt of the same blue polyester and a simple chrome latch. The zipper went from crotch to the almost Elvisesque collar. My friends have it now because the ladies seem to be the only ones small enough to fit in it. But it's a master piece for any Seahawks memorabilia collection and/or funky times.

My favorite piece of memorabilia came from a book store in Idaho. I walked in and found a John Elway comic book on sale. It was marked 25 cents and I got it for half price. What a deal!!!
